My son received this sandbox two years ago and it’s still in perfect condition regardless of wind, rain, snow or extreme heat. It holds 2-3 bags of sand but 3 is putting it to the rim. It had 2 spots that kids can sit although my son and friends prefer to sit in it. Two toddlers fit nicely together. The lid is perfect for protecting from weather. I really wish I had thought of this years ago but with six cats in the house and four of them being kittens you need a big litter box and I wanted something cute! With the other litter box I was constantly cleaning the floors! I had a small swimming pool until this arrived and the pool did its job for the time being but there were a few punctures from the claws. And if I have guest over and want to do a quick fix I can always put the lid on top of it😜 ... show more

I wish the lid was a little stronger. Bought it for my 3 yr old granddaughter and she likes to sit on top of it. Not sure how long the lid will last before it cracks. It may be fine. Time will tell. Other then that it's perfect for her.
