My 4 year old son loves this set and plays with it often. The first week he got it he played with it every day. My 19 month old also had fun playing with this. This gave me some uninterrupted mom time to get things done while the kids were entertained. 100% worth the purchase. I only let him play on the table with this as I have heard the kinetic sand can get messy in carpets/rugs. I don’t want to find out the hard way, so I will not chance it. Such a hit with the 3 yo grandson. He loved the feel of the sand and had loads of fun playing with the accessories that come with the kit. One note for moms - the case doesn't close securely enough to store the sand after opening it without putting it into a plastic bag or other container first.

This kinetic sand keeps my son occupied for a good while. He is pretty messy with it, but it cleans up very nice. It holds up very well, its nice and soft and does not dry out when he forgets to put the lid on the container that its kept in. It's also very affordable.
