  • Better then i expected
Style: BGW39 Pattern Name: Fans
I must say , i am pleasantly surprised with this case . I just bought it because i had to rebuild my spare pc to have as a back up but end up using it as main pc because after i did it i liked it so much that i swapped the parts and now it`s mine pc #1 lol . Pros: Lots of room , pretty , love the front mash it gives you good airflow , cable management is really awesome and easy to do . Also , bottom shroud front panel easy removal so you can connect the cables to psu without hassle . It was the best cable management i ever did because it was easy to rout the cables . I love that i can install 3x140mm fans on top front back AND bottom , which gives more air like i already mentioned it previously . Lots of usb ports which gives me possibility to connect my mouse and headphones at front for better signal . You can change front and top mash for solid panels if you want more quiet which i dont care about but its there if you need . Latch button for taking the side panel's off is great addition too . Cons: Very tight on the bottom between motherboard and shroud so you have to connect the motherboard and front panel connector and other wires before you install the motherboard because it is tough to do it after . Vertical gpu opening on the back is useless if you have big air cooler which in my case is BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 . There is no room for gpu to stand vertical because the air cooler is too big . Not sure if installing other vertical bracket will work either because motherboard sits too low , so you are stuck with horizontal gpu position only . That is actually big deal because all the hot air from gpu goes into the cpu cooler and temps are higher on cpu because of it . Fan hub could be made for pwm 4 pin fans instead of 3 pin but you can add one i guess for a few dollars . All in all its a awesome case with those few things to improve but for $180 its not bad . ... show more

  • Perfect case, but imperfect delivery (literally)
Style: BGW39 Pattern Name: Fans
The only reason its 4 stars and not 5 is because it was damaged on delivery. I'm going to assume it was the delivery worker, but nonetheless this led to a lot of issues in my build; 1. The case was clearly dropped as there was a dent in the bottom left of the case, but I thought it would be okay since I wouldn't see it. PSU wouldn't fit due to the case frame being warped from the drop. Through sketchy means I was able to install it. 2. After fully finishing my build I realized the case was standing a little crooked, again due to the warp in the bottom of the case. A little more than 1/8" height difference from left to right. All in all I love this case and will probably continue to purchase be quiet! cases in the future. ... show more

  • Good enough...
Style: BG039 Pattern Name: Fans, Black
I am going to build a new PC. As an enthusiast, a new PC diserves a new case... I bought this case because I liked the features, design and the availability of an non tempered glass version (it is nice to have glass, but it is a stress also... My RGB is going to the top and front of the 802 now, no side rainbow lights). After this introduction, let's talk of my previous case: a Phanteks P600s (tempered glass). The concept and features of both cases are very similar, BUT the P600s Is MORE STURDY. This is something I could not see in the videos about the 802... The metal parts are more thick and the case feels more premium (but not by a lot). Design wise, for me, the 802 wins by a little, but this is subjective. To sum up, the 802 is a good case, nice design and features and you will not be disappointed. But if you like cases build like tanks, look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Solid case
Style: BG039 Pattern Name: Fans, Black
I love this big monolith looking void on my desk, much more space than previous midtowers I've had. I really appreciate the solid steel+foam side panel as I hate tempered glass. I have spent enough of my life cleaning up spontaneous glass explosions. I don't need glass in my bedroom carpet. I might have bought the 500DX or several other cases instead except they doesn't come with steel siding (even as an option), in fact its alarming how few high quality cases seem to offer steel or even acrylic sides. I really like the door design, which I've used a lot since I'm swapping GFX, SSD and my cooler too much with this build I messed up a bit (and this expensive GFX market). Its so nice coming from old case screw '00 cases to a much more modern approach. I like having the generous water cooling space (waiting for a deal on a 360 or 420, can underclock for now) and all the dust filtration is highly appreciated because of my skin condition creating too much dust (and they are catching a lot, but I don't mind cleaning them out monthly if it helps keep it out of my cpu/gpu coolers) I love having space for cable management, the only place it's annoying is trying to snake cables in the thin gap between the bottom of the motherboard and the PSU shroud, but there is more space if you remove the PSU shroud (which improves airflow if you remove anyway) Minor complaints: They only gave me one floating HDD cage (the case supports multiple), and the lower double cage I'm hesitant to use in case the HDD doesn't get enough cooling down there. I wish I could buy a second but they seem kinda expensive as a German company, having trouble finding a reseller. However, I'm kinda out of SATA slots oh my motherboard anyway, so I would probably put the second HDD in an exterior USB enclosure because they run slow enough to not max out a USB connection. The thumbscrews they give for securing PCI brackets and SSD trays are really sticky/stiff, I can't use them as thumbscrews I always end up reaching for a screwdriver because my fingers alone aren't enough. I think it's the paint they put on the screw threads to make them black and match the case, but if you aren't like me opening the case twice a week this is a tiny concern. Edit: I can just BUY replacement thumbscrews! Why did I never think of that... It's a bit annoying getting the screws on the SSD trays to realign when you take them off to install 2.5" SSDs. The long one that holds 2 drives is long enough the screw at the end has trouble finding its hole without getting cross threaded, if there was an alignment pin that would probably help. The plastic feet they give you are kinda stiff going in their divot/holes, was worried I would scuff the paint or the plastic trying to get them to fit, but that's a one time thing, very minor. On the other hand, the feet widen the stance of the case making it wider, its the most stable case I've had, no concern at all it would tip. ... show more
