Features

  • MODULAR TO THE MAX - Hot-swappable Numpad and Media Dock | For maximum comfort and customization, the Dark Mount Numpad can be attached to either the left or right side of the keyboard or left off entirely when space is at a premium, for example at a LAN party. A Media Dock with dedicated media keys and a display always gives you full control over your video and audio settings during or in between gaming sessions and can be mounted in 2 positions, either on the left or right. Even the Palm Rest is split and the segment under the Numpad can also be attached to either side.
  • YOUR SKILL ON DISPLAY 8 - customizable Display Keys | You can fully customize 8 dedicated 115x115 Display Keys. Start your favorite game, go live with your stream, or bind custom macros to the keys and take advantage of the preconfigured icon library or upload your own image. With support for animated GIFs, JPGs, PNGs, and other common image formats, Dark Mount perfectly matches your favorite loadout.
  • MECHANICAL BE QUIET! SILENT SWITCHES - With factory-lubrication | Each keystroke is smooth and precise, yet whisper-quiet. Our silent linear orange switches are pre-lubricated to reduce friction and noise. After careful testing different materials, we chose a PA66 nylon housing for a muted sound profile and a POM stem for smooth actuations, to provide the best possible typing experience. We lubricated the stabilizers that sit under every large key like Space and Enter, which often make an unpleasant rattling noise if not treated properly, and cushioned the contact point between stabilizer and PCB for extra sound-dampening. Each switch is hot-swappable with other 5-pin MX style switches.
  • RULE OF 3 - Triple-layered dampening | A total of 3 sound-absorbing layers ensure that Dark Mount lives up to the name of be quiet!. One layer of foam is between the switches and the PCB, another is under the PCB, and silicone padding is filling the bottom housing. Any potential echoing noises are immediately muted. The space bar received a bonus layer of dampening, with foam inside the keycap body to reduce echo effects.
  • LAST KEYBOARD STANDING - Durable and ergonomic | Dark Mount comes with a black brushed aluminum plate for a sleek style and increased durability. PBT double-shot injection keycaps are the choice of champions due to their resistance to wear and tear. Not only is this keyboard built to last, it stays comfortable to use even after many hours of gaming, thanks to its ergonomic prowess. The stackable, magnetic feet support 3 different angles of 3, 6, or 9, and the magnetic cushioned two-part Palm Rest snaps onto the keyboard for a more natural hand position. If you take your Dark Mount on the road, the 2m USB-A-to-C cable and Numpad can be easily detached from the keyboard.
  • STRIKING LIGHTING - Per-key glow effect | Dark Mounts customization options are maximized with per-key ARGB lighting. Highlight important keys or create stunning effects. The translucent legends of the double-shot keycaps shine brilliantly thanks to an arched diffuser in each switch. A lightbar surrounding the keyboard creates atmospheric ARGB LED lighting on your desk that goes along with any RGB gaming PC, perfectly in line with your personal style.
  • TAKE FULL CONTROL - With the IO Center | With the be quiet! IO Center, you can take full control over your Light Mount keyboard and other be quiet! devices like mice. It enables you to configure elaborate per-key lighting effects, remap keys and set up macros in different profiles. The software is using very little system resources while active, and a web-based application is also available.

  • Amazing keyboard
Style: Dark Mount Linear
Very silent keyboard. Love the fact that it came with accessories to switch out the key caps and keys when they get worn out. This will allow you to use the keyboard much, much longer, as you can replace any damaged or broken keys with new ones. The feature that i thought was a gimmick, the programmable LCD buttons, is actually really cool if you launch stuff a lot. i use it every time on my computer, and it has the added cool benefit of allowing you to add custom logos or images on those keys so you can easily identify what you are launching. It's a little louder than this ultra-cheap Logitech keyboard i have for work, but significantly quieter than most any other mechanical keyboard. i saw reviews complaining about how the LED effects get stuff. i have not experienced this since i installed their software, so it's their problem. ... show more

  • If you enjoy silence in a keyboard, you can't go wrong with the Light Mount
Style: Light Mount Tactile
Was looking for a new mechanical keyboard to swap out of my Corsair K100 for work. Bought a different one, won't name the brand but great product it was just a 94% size and I couldn't adjust. Thought I would try this one. So far after a week or so, I really like it. Key caps have a slight textured feel to the which is nice. Key fore is about on par with the Corsair, where this is a stand out is it's name. be quiet! is an understatement, it is silent, or darn close. Like you can't hear it over normal conversation volume levels. Quality feel, with a metal top and ABS, I think, bottom. It has essentially no deck flex at all. Only ding for me, is I can not seem to get the web software to work. I can't install anything on my work laptop, and I Can't get the IO Center to load, though that could be from work network restrictions, it just won't load and times out. That said I COULD get the Keychron VIA system to work. If you want a quality silent mechanical keyboard, it's hard to go wrong at this price, which was cheaper than the K100 I had. ... show more

  • Very good with a few minor exceptions
Style: Dark Mount Tactile
I've had this keyboard for 10 days now and I'm very happy with it. I got it primarily for the ability to detach the number pad. I use the keyboard on a pull out tray that isn't very wide. When gaming I wanted more room for the mouse and don't really care about the num pad in that situation. However, I didn't want to lose the num pad (or have to have a standalone numpad) for non-gaming tasks. This keyboard was the perfect solution. I love the feeling of how it types. I went with the tactile which feels great. I haven't experienced any duplicate entry (at least so far) which several people mentioned in other reviews. The 8 programable keys above the numpad have been great. Something that my previous keyboard lacked. Some reviews have mentioned that the IO Center application has to stay open for any changes (lights, programmable keys, etc.) to remain effective. I have not experienced this. It isn't completely silent but it is much more quiet than other mechanical keyboards. There are a few cons but nothing major: 1. When first setting up the keyboard I did run into issues with the software staying connected to the keyboard while changing settings (lights, programmable keys, etc.) but that issues seems to have gone away. I ran a firmware update but I'm not sure if that's what fixed the issue since it continued to have issues detecting and staying connected to the keyboard even for a short time after the firmware update. 2. If I have the IO Center running and have the window active my monitor flashes every few seconds. It's not enough to make IO Center unusable and it goes away when IO Center isn't in focus. If IO Center is running in the background and minimized to the system tray (not an active window) there is no flashing. 3. The media dock could use some work. The discreet clicks of the volume wheel increases volume by 4 which is a bit odd. My previous keyboard with volume buttons went up by 2 each. You can get the volume wheel to go between discreet clicks but it's a little difficult. The brightness setting in the media dock doesn't stay in sync with the IO Center software. So if you set the brightness in the software at like 80% and then used the media dock to change the brightness it will reset the brightness to whatever the last value was set from the media dock. The "Media" option on the media dock is broken. It's supposed to to show whatever media is playing. When I first set up the keyboard I played a YouTube video and the "Media" option showed a thumbnail of the currently playing YouTube video but it's been stuck on that since day one still showing the thumbnail and name of that first video I played. It's not a big issue because I don't really use that but it's worth pointing out. Also, the media dock has an option for "Custom" with a setting of "ON" and "OFF" but it doesn't seem to do anything. 4. The indicator lights for Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock are in an odd location (to the right of the arrow keys) and the indicator of which light is what is pretty much impossible to see. You pretty much have to press the corresponding button and see what light goes on and off and just remember which is which. 5. The price. I understand that a mechanical keyboard with a detachable numpad, programmable buttons with customizable icons and the media dock is going to have a premium price but $250 is a bit excessive. The $170-$180 range would have been more reasonable. ... show more

  • Nice keyboard. Unknown issues in software and support can't help. Makes it not worth the purchase.
Style: Dark Mount Linear
Bought for my office because of the ability to have a full keyboard and move the numbers pad around. Biggest issue is the keyboard worked for the illumination for about 30 minutes and then stopped. It is stuck on the static pink light and nothing I do changes that. I unplugged it for the night (roughly 12 hours) and when plugged back up it showed a different color for the keys for about 2 minutes, then went back to the static pink color. If I cared for the pink color (doesn't really go with my setup) this probably wouldn't an issue. But for almost $300 this device should work as it is intended. Plus, and this is the BIGGEST killer for me, every time I download the software to run the keyboard....it tells me that I'm missing a bunch of items to make the software work. So overall....it IS a nice keyboard. The keys are quiet, which Iove. The typing speed is good and reactive. But the value is not there seeing as I cannot use the full functions and the support has no clue why this keyboard is doing (or not doing) what it's doing. I had purchased one and couldn't get it to do anything, returned it...this review is based on the second keyboard which I will now be returning... ... show more

  • Very customizable, very quiet, easy to use software.
Style: Dark Mount Linear
This is hands down the best keyboard I've ever used. I feel like it was made for me personally lol, like I know this isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea. It's so quiet, I mean whoa... unbelievably silent while typing. I love that myself. But it also feels so premium to me, I've used SEVERAL keyboards at this point. I've had corsair, steelseries, razer, roccat, hyperX and multiple of each brand, constantly searching for that perfect fit. And for me, this keyboard is it. The small LCD screen and customizable key's are just a bonus. Not to mention the software that you use with the keyboard is so user friendly and easy to navigate. I'm an extremely happy camper with this purchase. ... show more
