Features

  • MODULAR TO THE MAX - Hot-swappable Numpad and Media Dock | For maximum comfort and customization, the Dark Mount Numpad can be attached to either the left or right side of the keyboard or left off entirely when space is at a premium, for example at a LAN party. A Media Dock with dedicated media keys and a display always gives you full control over your video and audio settings during or in between gaming sessions and can be mounted in 2 positions, either on the left or right. Even the Palm Rest is split and the segment under the Numpad can also be attached to either side.
  • YOUR SKILL ON DISPLAY 8 - customizable Display Keys | You can fully customize 8 dedicated 115x115 Display Keys. Start your favorite game, go live with your stream, or bind custom macros to the keys and take advantage of the preconfigured icon library or upload your own image. With support for animated GIFs, JPGs, PNGs, and other common image formats, Dark Mount perfectly matches your favorite loadout.
  • MECHANICAL BE QUIET! SILENT SWITCHES - With factory-lubrication | Each keystroke is smooth and precise, yet whisper-quiet. Our silent linear orange switches are pre-lubricated to reduce friction and noise. After careful testing different materials, we chose a PA66 nylon housing for a muted sound profile and a POM stem for smooth actuations, to provide the best possible typing experience. We lubricated the stabilizers that sit under every large key like Space and Enter, which often make an unpleasant rattling noise if not treated properly, and cushioned the contact point between stabilizer and PCB for extra sound-dampening. Each switch is hot-swappable with other 5-pin MX style switches.
  • RULE OF 3 - Triple-layered dampening | A total of 3 sound-absorbing layers ensure that Dark Mount lives up to the name of be quiet!. One layer of foam is between the switches and the PCB, another is under the PCB, and silicone padding is filling the bottom housing. Any potential echoing noises are immediately muted. The space bar received a bonus layer of dampening, with foam inside the keycap body to reduce echo effects.
  • LAST KEYBOARD STANDING - Durable and ergonomic | Dark Mount comes with a black brushed aluminum plate for a sleek style and increased durability. PBT double-shot injection keycaps are the choice of champions due to their resistance to wear and tear. Not only is this keyboard built to last, it stays comfortable to use even after many hours of gaming, thanks to its ergonomic prowess. The stackable, magnetic feet support 3 different angles of 3, 6, or 9, and the magnetic cushioned two-part Palm Rest snaps onto the keyboard for a more natural hand position. If you take your Dark Mount on the road, the 2m USB-A-to-C cable and Numpad can be easily detached from the keyboard.
  • STRIKING LIGHTING - Per-key glow effect | Dark Mounts customization options are maximized with per-key ARGB lighting. Highlight important keys or create stunning effects. The translucent legends of the double-shot keycaps shine brilliantly thanks to an arched diffuser in each switch. A lightbar surrounding the keyboard creates atmospheric ARGB LED lighting on your desk that goes along with any RGB gaming PC, perfectly in line with your personal style.
  • TAKE FULL CONTROL - With the IO Center | With the be quiet! IO Center, you can take full control over your Light Mount keyboard and other be quiet! devices like mice. It enables you to configure elaborate per-key lighting effects, remap keys and set up macros in different profiles. The software is using very little system resources while active, and a web-based application is also available.

  • If you enjoy silence in a keyboard, you can't go wrong with the Light Mount
Style: Light Mount Tactile
Was looking for a new mechanical keyboard to swap out of my Corsair K100 for work. Bought a different one, won't name the brand but great product it was just a 94% size and I couldn't adjust. Thought I would try this one. So far after a week or so, I really like it. Key caps have a slight textured feel to the which is nice. Key fore is about on par with the Corsair, where this is a stand out is it's name. be quiet! is an understatement, it is silent, or darn close. Like you can't hear it over normal conversation volume levels. Quality feel, with a metal top and ABS, I think, bottom. It has essentially no deck flex at all. Only ding for me, is I can not seem to get the web software to work. I can't install anything on my work laptop, and I Can't get the IO Center to load, though that could be from work network restrictions, it just won't load and times out. That said I COULD get the Keychron VIA system to work. If you want a quality silent mechanical keyboard, it's hard to go wrong at this price, which was cheaper than the K100 I had. ... show more

  • Holy crap!
Style: Light Mount Linear
This thing is quieter than any review would have you believe. You get the advantages of a mechanical keyboard that is QUIETER than a standard membrane keyboard. I got the Light Mount Linear version. Now there are a couple of things that knocked off a start for me. One is the placement of the volume knob. I cannot fathom a reason for placing it where the ESC key has been for decades. EVERYONE else puts the volume knob on the top right corner and that is where they need to move it to, don't try to buck a trend that has been flawless. I also think the volume knob could use just a touch more knurling on it, I think its just a bit too smooth to be really effective. Second thing is the lights for Caps Lock, Numpad, and Scroll Lock are lined up to the left of the NUMPAD instead of across the top, I don't like that put them back up top where they belong. Third thing is that the key spacing just feels to be a little closer together than on the keyboards I have used. I am coming from a Corsair K70 RGB and am slowly getting used to the new keyboard but was making all kinds of mistakes the first couple of days. Build quality itself feels great and despite the little annoyances I have with it would highly recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • Not worth the price of admission
Style: Dark Mount Tactile
The software on this sucks monkeyballs, it often does not detect the keyboard and just closes itself. something is wrong with uploading custom icons for the keypad and they often reset to the default ones. the RGB also is mid.

  • Love a quiet keyboard!
Style: Light Mount Linear
Great craftsmanship went into this keyboard. Love how much they dampened the sound and it came with a magnetic palm rest . It was worth the money in my opinion. I hated every time I would type on a regular keyboard, constant clicking and clacking gets annoying over time.

  • Quiet! Smooth as Butter
Style: Dark Mount Linear
The media could not be loaded. Coming from the evga z20, this already feels like an upgrade in quality and modularity. The typing experience feels weird, especially now that I don't get the auditory feedback from the clicky. I do wish, especially since a bunch if gamers are going to buy this, that they provided alternate keypads for the WASD keys that have a change in texture and lighting for easier indexing. I might change out the switches at some point to try different ones, but that might be a while. Over all, would recommend. Now we'll see how it handles kitty cats. Ps: box is the perfect size for the kitties ... show more

  • It is good but has its issues
Style: Dark Mount Tactile
I originally heard about this keyboard from jayztwocents, and seeing his review piqued my interest. I love the ideas that this keyboard does with being able to love the media screen to be on the left or right side of your keyboard as well as the numpad depending on preference. Overall the keyboard is pretty good and I have been mostly happy so far with it. The thing I enjoy about this keyboard is of course the quiet keys, the customizability, and software uses of it. On the numpad you can set 8 customizable buttons to have an image of whatever you want and are one of my favorite aspects of the keyboard. Despite wanting to enjoy this keyboard I have had so many issues with it as well. So far my current issues is that they say on the datasheet for the keyboard that the custom buttons and idle image on the media screen supports gif files, however if you go into the io software gif files are not selectable. Furthermore, lately on the media dock the buttons are supposed to light up however they currently don't and I have to unplug and replug it in to get them to light up. Also an extremely annoying thing with the settings is if you set any settings through the software it might delete whatever you have saved, such as lighting settings, custom images, macros, etc and has been such a pain to deal with losing settings I liked having just to lose them. My final complaint is that the settings for lighting is not that good, and what I mean by that is if I tell the software to make the keyboard purple it comes out looking blue instead. Overall I can't say I fully recommend this product given the price and the issues and headache it has caused, but if you really want quiet keys then I'd say get the cheaper version. ... show more

Style: Dark Mount Tactile
Despite the negative sentiment toward this seller, they delivered correctly and on time for a very rare item, which should be good enough for most people.
