It fits my windshield perfect and there are no holes where the sun can come in on the Cadillac SRX. I can tell it is a lot cooler in the car than with the accordion sun shade that I have had before. The only reason that I did not mark it 5 stars for the fold is because I keep forgetting to take the instructions with me and am afraid to screw it up. It seems next to impossible to get that folded to fit in the little bag! I will try it soon though. Oh and the steering wheel cover that comes with it is great but, falls off too easily. This is the most valuable product I think I have purchased on here recently. Living in Texas and working at a school where there is no shade in the parking lot meant my van was boiling when I was getting myself and my son in to go home. I got this shade and the temperature in my van was easily 20 degrees cooler than it was without the shade. My steering wheel wasn’t causing burns on my skin, the metal bits of the seatbelts were easier to handle and the AC could actually cool the car down quickly. I got this for my '17 Volvo S60. It unfolds quickly and it's actually not too hard to fold it back up and put it in its case. For my car it covers 99.9% of the windshield. There are some gaps here and there but not enough to take away a star and it does keep the vehicle's interior shaded well. The center between the 2 circles sags but not enough to collapse itself as I rotate the cars shades forward to help hold it in place. If you have a S60 it will work, but it's not perfectly made for it. The steering wheel cover is a bonus but not necessary. The back of the cover hangs over the top of the steering wheel and it then just rests on the front of the steering wheel. ... show more

I would note that I ordered a large as recommended in the size chart for my car, but it was too big, so I ordered the medium which is perfect. Purchased the large because that is what the chart recommended for my Hyundai Tucson. It does cover the entire windshield, however I feel the large is too big. I have to overlap the middle by about 8-10" which takes me longer to get it installed correctly; which is the only reason for my 4 instead of 5 star rating. I would return it and downsize to a medium, but I already threw away the bag it came with-ugh. I also ordered a Medium for my husbands Jeep Renegade, again going with the chart recommendation, and the medium fits his windshield much better with only about a 1-2" overlay in the middle.     • Good sun protection, careful of sizing

I would give this a 4.5 if that were an option. 1. Don't pay attention to the sizing chart. It's wrong. Measure your window. I have a Taos (52"x27" or so). It says to get a large. Would be way too big. Medium is on the large end for my car, but will work with full coverage. 2. Why do companies make bags for their products that are so darn hard to get the product back into? Please make the bag opening bigger. 3. Appears like it is going to give great sun protection. 4. Easy enough to fold, but doesn't stay together. Hopefully the elastic bands will last as the bag will be too much of a hassle to use. ... show more

This item does a good job of providing the shade at the windshield. It is however a little tricky to fold up, and the elastic band attached to the shade is not stitched to the product well, and will undoubtedly rip off as the product gets more use. I thought this would be more easily folded and stored based on its description. The folded shade is bigger and a little more unwieldy than desirable.
