First time doing this and it wasn't very hard for me. Gave privacy to our rv bedroom side. From the outside you can see mirror like, reflections to back of our rv where i isntalled them. The apartments allowed the application, we cut and set the 3 pieces on the front windows of the Apartment, now the room is Cooler, the "mirror-like" quality on the outside prevents the "nosey" neighbors from walking by staring in.

Fantastic results!.... once you manage to get this on. VERY CHALLENGING install. Have a deep breath and make sure allllll prep work done before you start. Very easily damaged on the roll so beware! We had to buy a second roll because of the dings in the first, no they don’t come out. Pro tip: use like all the water when you’re installing. The extra water really helps out. ... show more

This stuff is awesome! It’s a little bit of a pain to put on, and i do have some soap streaks from using to much but husband insisted it needed more :/. It blocks the sun in this Florida heat flawlessly! My AC bill went down not by huge amounts but def made a difference. The quality is good so far, it has held up in 100 degree temperatures. Adhesion is so good, you don’t get more than once to get it right tho, so be careful and take your time. You legit cannot see in my window from sunrise to sunset. I put my face up to it and could barely make anything out inside which is perfect! I hated always having my blinds closed, now I can open them and still nobody can see in and I don’t have to answer the door lol. 5 🌟 definitely will purchase again for my lanai doors. ... show more

I had trouble putting film on window...when film slipped my hand ..it folded and it got stuck to the other part of the film...I couldn't save it ...you have to be very careful and prepared to install it on medium or big windows Another dislike about this product...as much as I pressed to remove the bubbles ...I still had some left :( Not sure what I did wrong ...I purchased another product and it was much easier to install. it didn't leave the bubbles. It wasn't a thin film ...it was like plastic ..pretty cool and easy to manage it leaving less bubbles I can't give 5 stars because it left many scratches and bubbles 😞 ... show more

Great for blocking heat!!! You can really feel the cooler temperatures with the film!!! Only about 12% of Sunlight comes through!!! Very cool looking from the outside!!! (FREE) KNIFE & SQUEEGEE are included in each package!!! Very easy to cut and VERY easy to apply to windows!!!! Spray LOTS of soapy water mixed up in a spray bottle onto the window!!!! The more water on the window the easier it is to side the film around to get it to fit right!!! Mix up water and Dawn in a spray bottle, about 10- 20 drops will do it in a water mix or until your water is a lite BLUE from using the Dawn or any other soap like GV's brand will work well too. Love this stuff! Works great! ... show more

I gave 3 stars because this didn’t serve my purpose however it is a good product if you didn’t buy it for my reasons. Let’s talk Pros and Cons Pros : •Easy Installation - pro tip for unpealing backing - bite down on a corner with your teeth and grind your teeth back and forth until it comes off and stick your tongue in between film & backing and it’ll come right off. I do window tint on cars and wrap cars so this is a tip we use when working with film. Make sure you use soap and water and squeegee left and right. •Reduces heat and makes your home SOOOO much cooler... You still get natural light but it’s not making your home extremely hot. Let’s talk about how this film works... This film is GREAT for the day time. Why? Because all of the light is coming from the outside. It’s reflecting the light creating a mirror effect whenever the light source is. So outside in the day time, it’ll be a mirror reflection. Now what about ar nighy? Oh no 100% terrible. It offers no privacy. Why? because when you turn on the lights in your home it created a mirror reflection on the inside of the windows. So I can’t even see outside because all the light is in my house making it mirrored from the inside. If you walk outside and look inside, it’s just as if the windows are slightly tinted. Absolutely no mirror reflection on the outside at night because there is no light source outside... Now during the day time, while it is mirror reflective, if you put your head against the window you can see straight in and see everything. this is only really great for mirror reflection if you’re far away from the mirror. So during the day time this mirror is great. You get a nice mirror reflection, still get sunlight while keeping your house cool & it offers some privacy. At night time rhis doesn’t do anything & actually makes seeing out of the windows extremely difficult and in my opinion useless because I want to be able to see outside at night without seeing my bette home reflection. So again - this product is NOT for me bc I wanted NIGHT time privacy without having to have blinds shut 24/7. But for the day time this is good. It really jusr depends on your wants and needs for this product. In an apartment building up high, this would be perfect. I’ll post more pictures this weekend of what it looks like from the inside. ... show more
