Used this for a extended-stay assisted living facility mattress that had a dip in the middle. It conforms to a standard twin bed mattress and provides comfort and cooling for the body. It has a very soft cover over the 2-inch memory gel foam. It attaches to the mattress with 3 inch wide elastic straps and each corner and has kept the topper in place. We have used standard sheets over the topper and mattress.

First off.... this thing is not gel it may have like 1% gel fibers but this is DEFINITELY 99% memory foam which many of whom tht are familiar with sleeping on memoryfoam know... its HOT, it makes you drown in your own sweat, hard to get up its like it is swallowing you like quicksand into the bed ..

I was looking for a firm topper and was let down by previous purchases as it seems a firm foam topper can be hard to find. Our new mattress was just too soft, and every foam topper previously just made the mattress sink more. This was a perfect addition to a “too soft” mattress. It’s firm but still provides comfort and support. It comes with a protector encasement to protect against spills and stains. It’s a cloth protector, but the quality is unreal. The cover itself must weigh 5 pounds. Very luxurious, thick feel. The foam does have a slight “chemical” smell but that’s to be expected with foam toppers and it’s light enough that it should dissipate after 24-48hrs. It took about 30 seconds to expand, not joking. It does come vacuumed sealed but since it’s a firm foam, it doesn’t have a lot of air space so you don’t have to wait two days for it to expand. One Con to mention: width wise, it was a bit bigger than my king mattress but a snug fitted sheet should keep it help together nicely. I don’t suspect this will impact my sleep or anything just something to mention. Overall very pleased!

There is no peculiar smell during use, and the outer cover and inner core are separated and combined when the goods are delivered. The material is very simple, comfortable and convenient.
