This appears to be a good solid rebounder that will serve the purpose it is meant for, but I haven't really had more than a fleeting opportunity to try it out. The following statements reflect my own quirks, so I didn't remove any stars as a result. First, I am pretty bad at assembling things. It seems like it used to be that manufacturers were fine hiring employees to put together their products. Now they expect their customers to d a substantial part of it. In the interests of happy customers and job creation, please hire somebody for the second part of putting your stuff together. (To be fair though, the little tool that came with it that put the bungees on was kind of fun.) Hint - go to You Tube where some very kind individuals who are not assembly challenged but very understanding of those who are will help a great deal. This also took up a lot more room than I anticipated. Years ago I had a rebounder without a handle, but now that I have hit those "Golden Years" I felt like perhaps some added stability would be a good idea. I probably have burned a good number of calories today trying to rearrange my living room to sort of blend it in, but to no avail. I think I will have to bring it down to my basement family room. This is a little unfortunate, as the adage "Out of sight, out of mind" will probably prove true once again, as it takes its place next to the exercise bike and treadmill. All in all though, my personal preferences aside, this looks like a solid, quality product that will be good exercise and a lot of fun for most who purchase it. ... show more

    • Set up is a little tricky, but very pleased

I’ll start with the good and say that this is a great little rebounder. This is the first one I’ve owned so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but it seems perfect for beginners. I’ve only had it for a day (so will update review if needed) but it seems well made and I feel pretty confident in the elastic bands holding up over time (although I would assume the should be replaced at some point). So far I don’t have any complaints or concerns about the product now that it’s set up. It’s sooo much fun. I feel like a little kid. I love that it’s small and light enough to be easily moved or stored. It says you can fold it for storage purposes, but after feeling the resistance in the bands I don’t know that I’ll be attempting that lol! The assembly wasn’t especially difficult, but it does require quite a bit of grip strength and leverage to stretch the elastic loops, so if you have mobility or hand/finger strength troubles you may struggle quite a bit. The tools they include help tremendously, as does pre-assembling a few of the elastics, but it still took some doing. I wouldn’t say that the instructions were necessarily LACKING, but I feel like emphasizing a couple of things more clearly would have saved a lot of trouble for me lol. So I’ll share my tips in hopes it helps someone: - Definitely ACTUALLY read the directions (carefully!) and watch the video via the QR code BEFORE you start. I fancy myself pretty proficient at assembling things so I kinda just skimmed the directions and watched the video as I went along. Wrong choice. - Several loops came attached to the frame already, so I foolishly assumed they were attached correctly and just went along with that. However, about 80% through it, I noticed in the video that their loops looked slightly different than mine. Turns out the pre-attached loops must have slid around in transit since there wasn’t that much tension and they were aligned incorrectly. The little lumpy metal part is supposed to “lock” the elastic into place when properly secured. If you pay close attention to the instructions in the manual, use the triangle tool exactly as instructed, and make sure you compare your loops to how they look in the video, you should be able to figure out how it’s supposed to sit tightly. I don’t know how important that detail really is, but the tension in these bands is intense, so I didn’t want to take any chances on not doing it properly and having a band fly off and hurt someone. - Which brings me to my last point. PLEASE be mindful of where you have your face and other body parts while you’re securing the elastic. While I was reassembling my bands for the second time, I was using the triangle tool to stretch the elastic and using the side of my knee to hold the frame down. My hand slipped, and the triangle tool (which had the elastic stretched over it) snapped down like a very large mouse trap on my ankle lol! Totally my fault, but these are very strong bands that you stretch quite a distance and the welt/bruise on my ankle leads me to believe that someone could very easily be very hurt if not careful. ... show more

    • Have Downstairs Neighbors? No More Squeaky Springs!

I had another BCAN, but was terrified that my downstairs neighbors would complain of the noisy springs when I bounced every morning. I got this one today and it’s not only so much quieter, it a better, deeper bounce! Now I jump to my hearts delight and am not as self-conscious as I moved here recently. It was easy to put together, although I needed to find a You Tube video to attach the bungees, but the tool provided made it so much easier. I have not attached the bar as my balance is fine. I like this one as it is not as tight as the one with springs and I donated that one to a thrift store. Happy Jumping!, ... show more

Even though my trampoline came pre-opened and missing a part, the 48” BCAN trampoline is great! It’s fun and I feel better after jumping for 20 min. It’s the perfect size for jumping around. Anything smaller would make it harder to stay only on the mat. I spent the extra money for the handle for safety as I’m a senior. Unfortunately, the part missing, helps to keep the handle safely in place. Also, it did take longer to assemble than expected but the tool provided was extremely helpful and I may have given up, without it. I purchased the bungee (vs the spring model, which I owned years ago which is noisy and stiff). This one quiet and the landing is soft. It does fold but it takes removing most of the cords, which is time consuming to both remove and reattach. You also need a little muscle to safely open and fold it, as well as a place to store this opened. The missing a part is one problem but the stitching around the outer mat is concerning. It is sloppy and can cause fraying. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER and the email to BCAN keeps saying my email cannot be received. BCAN obviously doesn’t want to hear from its customers as it makes it nearly impossible to contact them! I LOVE this item but may have to disassemble it, for its return. ... show more
