  • SPECIAL FORMULA: We use Aliphatic wood glue on our 12" subwoofer enclosures to ensure an airtight seal between all MDF parts. Each 12 inch subwoofer box also gets a second application of glue around all internal joints after the final assembly.

The carpet was in great shape and the box is built rugged with 3/4 MSD . I put 2 kicker comp 12s in the box gave it lots insulation the speakers have good deep bass . My only complaint is the wire connections are cheap i switched them out with better ones.

I bridged a Taramps TS 400x4 AMP to power 2 400 WATT, Skar 10 inch 2 ohm, duel voice coil subwoofers wired in parallel making them 4 ohms. My front/rear Sony coaxial speakers are wired through 2 separate Taramps TL-1500's for 95x4. The subwoofers are in THIS sealed enclosure, not ported. That is my preference. I have always liked the cone response from subs in a sealed enclosure, but to each his own. The enclosure is heavy, it's constructed of MDF. The fabric is adhered perfectly to the box with ZERO flaws. I had forgotten what it was like to have a nice car stereo. The 3 amps are very small but don't let that deceive you. In the cabin of my 96 Subaru Impreza outback, this setup will knock your socks off. Unbelievable. ... show more

Product arrived in perfect condition (fall '23). I added a bit of sound dampening material along the side and across bottom that vent starts on. Ct Sounds Tropo 8 and Skar SDR8 both fit perfectly (7.2in cutout). Sound quality is very good, and it extended the usable low end of the subs. They were in a sealed enclosure prior to this. I tested the sound with different Hz tones. 38 was very strong, 35 was still strong, and 32 was where roll off started but much improved over the sealed boxes. 28hz was much softer, but the note was still plainly heard. Hope this helps. Currently running 2 Ct Sounds Tropo 8 in it with 500w amp (250w RMS) @ 2ohm. This review is for the 8in dual sub box tuned to 32hz. ... show more

My first vented/ ported enclosure. I’ve read a lot of reviews on different enclosures & it came down to this BBOX or the QBOMB. Due to limited space in my 2005 Lexus IS300 trunk I went with the BBOX. Sound quality is great. 3/4 MDF on the face only then it looks like 1/2 the rest of the way around. Running two SKAR SDR 12”s at 2 ohm amp is pushing like 500 rms total so 250 rms to each 12” and my whole car is shaking. Fantastic purchase. I was looking for a prefab that would work for 3 10” Rockville Punishers. The problem is that they require 1.6 cubic feet of air per sub. I finally found this box for triple 12” and added a 3/4” baffle and cut new 10” holes. I was amazed at how low it would go. It’s tuned to about 31hrz and it will shake the ground. Box did arrive with some dings in it but nothing that effects the sound. Amazon gave me a partial credit for the damage. Over all if you have 3 10” subs needing more room this box is worth the extra work. ... show more

Very good sound with these cheap Pioneer subs, hots deep and clear, no it does not sound crisp because that is not how bass should be described, lol The corners were a little damaged so I give 4 stars, but I repaired them and am happy with the purchase. The box fits perfectly in my 67 T Bird.
