On the positive side, this is a cheap battery. On the negative, this is a cheap battery. No replacement battery lasts as long as a factory one, so that's no surprise, but I expected to get closer to a year out of it. This is the shortest lived battery replacement I've ever had. Bought in Nov '14 and started dying in about March or April '15. I contacted the seller to ask the warranty info and they ignored my message - no reply. Won't buy this product or from them again. You can give a 1000 year warranty for a product if you plan to ignore warranty claims! I guess that's their strategy. ... show more

Bought this battery in August 2020 for a laptop so my child could use it at home for school during the pandemic. After 5 months of use, this battery does not hold a charge AT ALL. Very disappointed in Amazon for allowing this product on their website because at 4 stars, I took it to be a decent product. Supposedly, this is still under warranty, but there is no way to contact the manufacturer. I'm not the only person. There are several other customers who have had a problem with Bay Valley Parts who have had minimal success with contacting the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY FROM BAY VALLEY PARTS! ... show more

I bought this battery pack to Toshiba Satellite P850, so far it is performing much better than the original Toshiba battery pack that came with the laptop (I purchased it on March 11th, 2015). I would recommend everyone to save money and buy this replacement battery instead of the OEM which cost more than $120. Clearly Toshiba and other computer manufacturers couldn't care less about servicing their products and offering replacement parts at reasonable prices. Once you buy their product you are in no position to bargain, the only thing you can do to save yourself from paying exorbitant prices is to buy for X-brand alternatives, like this battery. I also want to add, that the quality of Toshiba laptops has decreased significantly since some years ago. I have had many different issues with my Satellite P850, from the keyboard input text jumping back to previous paragraphs to keys actually falling from the keyboard after only 2 years of usage. In addition the original battery included with the Toshiba Satellite P850 manifested charge holding issues very fast, after only 6-8 months of having purchased it. Really disappointed of the brand and quality of Toshiba. Next time I will try something like Gateway, DELL or ASUS. They are cheaper, last longer and have fewer issues. ... show more

Due to the fact that I have had this in operation for about two months and the charge only holds for a little over an hour, this is a disappointment. It wasn't a bad price for what I got, but I would much rather pay a little more and have a battery that can last as long as my original did. 3 MONTH UPDATE: Okay, I received this on August 12th and it is now November 3rd. That's not even three months. I have to unfortunately change my review from three stars to one star because I now have to bring my cable with me and sit in one place while using my computer. It doesn't hold a charge for long and I am now looking for another replacement battery. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! ... show more

The battery sent fits on my Toshiba S75-B, but it doesn't charge. Even though it said the battery was at 78%, when I unplugged my laptop from power, it immediately died. The label on the battery looks nothing like the one pictured in the listing. The listing says it is a new replacement for Toshiba and the picture is exactly the same as my original battery, but the one sent is not even the same brand, let alone the same part number.     • Good, but only for the price - UPDATE
I bought this as a replacement to a Li-ion battery that was unable to power my Toshiba S855-S5378 for more than 5 minutes. With this battery, I can use my laptop (which probably uses more than the average amount of power) for over 3 hours. It works well enough for my needs. However, beware--I had a difficult time installing this battery. During the installation, the battery pack split a little, but not enough to be a hazard, so I kept the battery. The battery was also unable to sit in the pocket correctly, although it did work. UPDATE - i have ordered two of these. The first one initially held a charge for a few hours; the new one holds a charge for less than half an hour. This product is no longer worth buying. About a month in, the battery suddenly was able to seat correctly, although to do so, I had to take out the battery pack and reinstall it. For a cheap, generic battery, this works well, although don't expect it to fit perfectly. ... show more

Contrary to everything on the description page this battery does not fit a Toshiba Satellite C55 perfectly nor is it 10.8v 4400mAh. It isn't so oversized that it won't fit, however I had to press it into the computer and hold it there while I moved the 'lock' switch over. Without doing so you can't lock it in place, nor will it stay in the computer. Not a huge issue as it charges and does its job. Much like the photo, but not the description, the battery says 11.1v, 5200mAh. The battery functions and hasn't fried my computer but how hard is it to provide an accurate description? On the plus side I have charged and completely drained it 6 times since purchase (by using the computer, that is). It is giving me 3.25 - 4.25 hours of usage depending on the tasks -- right on par with the original battery. With the computer on but doing nothing other than powering the screen it is lasting around 4.5 hours prior hitting the 5% threshold. With the poor fit and inaccurate description I give it 3 stars. However if it lasts another 11 months, at this price, it'll be a 4-star purchase. I'll let you know... ... show more
