Easy to assemble but bed should be opened outside so the fumes are released. The glues and formaldehyde produce a strong outdoor. No drawers for storage but bulky items can be stored under the bed. Bed consists of boards and nails and upholstery. Bed should be worth $250 based on the materials and assembly. Delivery came in 2 boxes. Queen size bed makes it slightly too big for a sofa but it works better as a bed. Wish it had drawers underneath for the same price. ... show more

I read reviews that said you have to have two people, and assembly takes 2-3 hours. I did it by myself in 1 hr 22 minutes with two Allen wrenches and a screwdriver. It's not hard at all. Start all 16 hex bolts, and then hang the rails.

Since there’s literally no reviews for this beautiful daybed anywhere I just have to write a little review about it! I am so so so happy with this daybed. It came delivered in 2 separate packages on the same day with two hex keys and you definitely need a power drill for the screws. The packages were a bit heavy and if you’re weak a second person would make it a lot easier but I am a 5’2” girl and I put this bed together all by myself. This daybed was super easy to put together and there’s really not much to it at all. Instructions were put in the same little bag with the screws and bolts and the instructions were just one page. For me it was a tiny bit confusing to read at first but once you organize the screws and all it was real easy. The only part I had a little issue with was the back board because it would’ve helped me out a lot if I had a helping hand but I figured it out. I totally recommend this daybed because now I have more space in my room and it makes my queen bed feel like a king bed. I also love how it is a nice height above the ground with my 5-6” memory foam mattress, unlike my previous “platform” bed which was only about a foot above the ground. ... show more

My 11-year-old daughter was able to put it together herself and loves it. It's sturdy and looks way more expensive than it was. We put cute pillows on it and it's perfect for to hang out on and watch movies with her friends in a room we use for a guest room and also a kid hang out room.
