These really help. I wish they didn't become thin so easily (not in actual thickness, but the width doesn't hold up if you use them while seated). Still a very good product. My job requires me to sit in a position disadvantageous to the back, often for long periods of time. This back brace definitely helps with that, though I find it may require slight adjustment after 3 or 4 hours to alleviate any stiffness. The very low-profile cut of this back brace is a definite plus and I can easily wear it underneath clothing without it being visible; the pull tab also allows for quick adjustments and is easy to access.

Because it is so easy to adjust, and constructed of a mesh material, it's strong but comfortable. Our physical therapist suggested this product, and she was so right! My husband is 76 with severe back pain even after 2 surgeries and now lacks core strength, so standing more than 5 minutes or even walking around the house was difficult. The BaxMAX has changed all that! The wheel chair I purchased is stashed away and has been replaced with BaxMax around the house, and BaxMax plus walker when outside. 5 stars is not high enough!!

I feel this is not worth the money I paid for it. Its not as lightweight as advertised. Its pretty much like the Copper Fit one I already have, which was cheaper. I feel like those little straps in back are going to rip one of these days. The back is comfortable due to it being open, but the front really cuts into me.

I purchased this for myself after trying on my mother's, and it works. I've tried it both over my clothes, but I found that it works best under my clothing. I'm not trying to make any health claims; but when I wear my Bax-Max on my lower back, it helped reduce the sciatica nerve pain that I experienced in my left toes, due to a herniated disc in between my L2 and L3. I definitely noticed the difference when I didn't wear, versus when I did.
