EDIT: There is a very feint high pitched whine from the battery. It's not consistent, and unless the room is perfectly silent I can't hear it when it is making noise. My dogs seem to hear it better than I can, but they seem to be getting used to it. I specifically bought this head strap because it seems to be the best (only?) halo-style strap with a battery that fits the quest 3. So far it is almost perfect. It completely takes the pressure off the face and is way more comfortable than the standard "jockstrap". The distance from your face is also slightly adjustable and the strap keeps the headset remarkably stable. I don't have any issues with the headset wiggling around on my face when I move. The battery doesn't make any noise when charging or discharging as far as I can tell, and it does extend play time, but I haven't yet quantified exactly how long. The one thing I didn't like was that there is only one ratchet adjuster on the back, while many halo-style straps (without batteries) also have an adjustment dial for the top strap as well. I would have liked to ratchet the top down just a little bit tighter. I have a pretty big head, so someone with a small head might not be able to get a very good fit. In all it's a night-and-day improvement over the default strap and will extend your play time not just by the battery life, but also extending the time you can play before you get a headache. Better, more comfortable than the elite strap and cheaper too. Worth the money, would recommend 👌 If you are still playing with the jockstrap, stop reading reviews and buy this now. If you already have a 3rd party battery strap that you're happy with, this is still a solid strap for the price but maybe not worth an upgrade until they make one with a top adjustment dial. ... show more

Headset feels really good and snug on your head which is where the weight load should be not on your face. Very comfortable unit. The issue is that only after about two weeks the battery though fully charged no longer powers my VR headset. Worked perfectly at first. Will be returning if I cannot figure out what’ the problem is. ( turns out the connection can be inserted the wrong way so charging ceases to work. Turned it over and it’s functions-operator error. We purchased three Adicop 15,000mh battery head traps. We are so happy with the products. The figment on the Meta Quest 3 is perfect and it makes it so much more comfortable than the original head strap. We played for a little over 4 hours and still had 40% charge left. I would highly recommend this head strap over all the competitors.     • Huge improvement!
If you're looking at the more expensive versions of this product (such as in ads on the social media site that also owns the Oculus), DON'T! This does the trick. After owning the Oculus Quest 2 for several months, I was starting to have major slipping issues with the standard strap no matter how tight I got it, and then I began to get headaches. I was so upset, thinking I'd have to stop using it because I was in pain every time I used it. This was the solution. It's got soft, fluffy padding that's coated so it's easy to wipe down. The installation was a snap (literally). I have NO more head pain and NO more slipping issues, and I've made sure to test it for several weeks before commenting. I'm not seeing any serious wear spots beginning to form, nor am I having any issues with moving the individual pieces to custom fit it to my head. It's just been great. I can play my Oculus again without any headaches at all. It saved me a ton of money! ... show more

i have a quest 2 and quest 3 and these after market head sets are a must, especially on the quest 3. the quest 3 OE head strap gives zero support or stability, you get fatigued faster, and if you don’t have a battery back up your game time is cut in half. You have 2 straps across the top, one is adjustable, the other fixed, to carry the weight of the headset. the back strap that holds the quest in place and adjusts easily with a dial for maximum comfort, it takes less then 5 minutes to set up and seconds to dial in once you put it on.     • Smooth and great at weight distribution
Before I begin I will say I bought this headset and two others with the intent of trying all three and finding which one was the most comfortable. After only 30 minutes of playtime with this head strap, I was sold on it. The weight distribution is by far one of the best out there for the price, and the construction is sturdy. You don't feel like it's going to slip off your head if you're turning your head and fast rapid movements. The knob on the back makes the helmet a perfect fit much like a welder's helmet. And once it's suggested to your head size it doesn't need to be readjusted. Taking it on and off is super easy, all you do is tilt the head strap up once it's on your head and it simply slides off. If you're considering an upgrade to the stock head strap that comes with a Quest, this is by far in my opinion the best for the price, and the most comfortable for the price. Couple it with the fact that there is enough space on the headset to attach a small battery bank to one of the straps and you have an all-in-one headset with everything you need to keep your play time going for hours on end. I am super satisfied with this purchase, and I'm glad to have made it. If you're on the fence about buying a new head strap don't be with this one! It is really that good! ... show more
