I’ve gone through enough pump sprayers to know exactly how annoying they are once you’ve got a decent-sized yard or property. This VASG 4 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer completely changed the game for me. The 21V battery has plenty of power, the spray pressure stays consistent, and not having to stop every few minutes to hand pump feels like moving from a flip phone to a spaceship. The backpack straps are surprisingly comfortable even when the tank is full, and the wand/nozzle setup gives good control whether I’m spot spraying weeds, covering larger areas, or spraying around fences and landscaping. I also appreciate that it doesn’t feel cheaply made like a lot of budget sprayers do. Connections seal tight, no leaking issues so far, and cleanup has been easy. Battery life has been excellent for my use. I was able to cover a large area without worrying about it dying halfway through the job. The consistent spray pattern makes applications look more professional and wastes less product too. Biggest thing for me: it saves time and saves your arm. Yard work already feels like a boss battle against heat, weeds, and gravity. At least now I’m not manually pumping like I’m inflating a life raft in the middle of the Atlantic. For the money, this thing punches way above its weight. Definitely one of the better lawn and garden purchases I’ve made this year.

I've been shopping Amazon for more than 20yrs probably have purchased over 10,000 items, and this is by far the worst piece of junk I have ever received. It's incredibly cheap janky plastic parts, the way the battery is mounted, the parts do not fit well, but worst of all upon testing with some home made weed killer, it LEAKED massively.. not around the hose outlet for the sprayer, but the entire bottom seal was leaking and completely leaked out 4gal in about 60seconds. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

UPDATE: Broke after 3 uses. It peaked from the bottom. I had just added some expensive root strengthening powder to the water. It qll went to waste. Updating my review to 1 star.Overall, this 4‑Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer is good. It met some of my expectations. I like that the spray wands can be extended, and it comes with 6 different nozzles. It can run up to 90 minutes on one charge, which is great. It also comes with a filter screen so debris won’t clog the hose. I really like that you can lock the trigger so your hand doesn’t get tired, and the adjustable pressure knob is a nice feature. However, there are a few things I don’t like. The hose leaks sometimes, which gets my back wet. Four gallons is also too heavy for me to carry on my back. The shoulder straps are not padded enough, which makes it uncomfortable when carrying the full 4.2 gallons of liquid. It has a little gray piece that’s supposed to hold the spray wand, but it doesn’t hold it well — the wand just ends up falling anyway. Another issue is that the shoulder straps connect loosely from the bottom and easily unhook. This is extremely inconvenient when the sprayer is full and very heavy. The sprayer holds 4.2 gallons of liquid, which weighs about 35 pounds, so the total weight is around 43–44 pounds depending on the liquid. That’s way too heavy for straps that aren’t fully padded or secure. Pros • Extendable spray wands • Comes with 6 nozzles • Runs up to 90 minutes per charge • Trigger lock to reduce hand fatigue • Adjustable pressure knob • Includes a filter screen to prevent clogs Cons • Hose leaks and gets your back wet • Too heavy when filled to 4.2 gallons • Shoulder straps are not padded enough • Bottom strap clips come undone too easily • Wand holder does not hold the wand securely This product would be great for people who can comfortably carry 40+ pounds on their back and don’t mind the strap design. It has good features, but the comfort and leaking issues need improvement. Overall, I’d rate this 3 out of 5 stars. I would raise the rating if they fixed the hose leaking, improved the shoulder straps, made the bottom clips stronger, and redesigned the wand holder so it actually holds the wand in place.
