This is an excellent, stylish, battery hold-down bracket, and although it fits my 2008 4Runner, it was a little too long on one end (and may have bumped the hood) so I cut mine down a bit. Please see my photos of how much I cut off for my setup, and the final product, which I am very satisfied with. You can likely use a sawzall (like I did), or some sort of wire snips to trim the metal down. (Pro tip: Put your fastener fittings and bolts onto it BEFORE you make your cut, in case the threads are damaged when you cut and you can't get them on later.) (one final tip: I put a regular bolt on the back and a wing nut on the front so that I could loosen the battery with my fingers on the one side (and the other side would stay stable). This is an excellent product and comes with all the types of nuts, bolts, and fittings that you'd need for likely any situation. With slight modification, it works excellently for my vehicle, and is far more stylish than the OEM battery cover. ... show more

works as it should, my car was missing the tie down so i got this cool looking one. it looks great, it just came pre-scratched. but it was scratched in the package, not from a return or mishandling. other then that i like it.

Looks good and it’s super firm and holding down that battery feels great now it is super sturdy It adjustability is great Installation was just straightforward. It would be great. If a thin rubber, Matt came in included as well for the battery so it can hold it down some more

I used it to install large group 24 battery in my frontier truck. I have it pretty tight for several months now and it also looks great, better than the oem stuff. Very happy

Works well wish the hook rods were a little more curved up. They stay in place once tightened but takes some effort to keep them connected if you are installing them by yourself.
