It’s all about looks here and I had to strike 1 star as the SurRon logo does not fit well at all, had to press it in with channel locks and that scratched it a bit. The SurRon logo will probably fall off pretty quick but better than looking at the two nuts that hold the latch. functionality and install is quick and the fit is very much like OEM. I decided to try out this imitation carbon fiber battery cover for my Surron Light Bee, and overall, it’s a nice cosmetic upgrade with a bit of added protection. The look is sharp—the carbon fiber pattern adds a sleek, custom appearance to the bike, giving it a more premium vibe without breaking the bank. Even though it’s imitation carbon fiber, from a distance it looks convincing, and it definitely makes the bike stand out more. As for installation, it was straightforward and only took a few minutes to get it fitted. The cutouts lined up decently well, though I had to adjust it slightly to get everything sitting flush. Once in place, it feels stable and hasn’t shifted or rattled while riding. In terms of protection, it does provide a bit of coverage for the battery from dust, dirt, and small debris, but I wouldn’t rely on it as heavy-duty armor. This is more of an aesthetic piece than a functional guard, but if you’re looking for an inexpensive way to enhance your bike’s look, it’s worth it.
