This register is huge- like way bigger than the ones you typically see in the toy aisle. We like that the buttons beep and the scanner beeps when pressed on an item. We dislike that the money drawer comes with 4 coin slots but only 3 types of coins, and 3 bill slots but 4 types of bills. It’s very obnoxious for the perfectionist’s mind. Very fun for toddler learning. I love that it beeps, and it is definitely not loud like other reviews mentioned. Very cool, the coins are large to avoid being a choking hazard.

    • Great set for school or play
I am currently homeschooling, my six-year-old daughter. She asked for this set for Christmas, however, I went ahead and purchased it on a prime day for schooling. It is very well-made, comes with a lot of pieces. The one thing I don’t like is the coin size while it is great for small children for school, teaching purposes it’s not the correct size of actual change wasn’t a huge issue or dealbreaker as I just ordered a cash set to supplement it, it makes learning more fun for school with counting and learning how money works and also she enjoys using it with her pie kitchen and ringing up me and her dad and her sister with items she cooks in the kitchen. I gave her a receipt from my fast food stop one evening and she is very cute about it. She will come and ask us what we would like to eat. Give us our receipt and take our money. It has helped her tremendously with learning how to count Money , therefore I would highly recommend this product. You cannot lose one small con, which is for the rating of four stores is the beeping is quite loud with the scan gun. Anyone who has constant headaches or find sounds annoying would definitely not enjoy the beeping sound easily fixable with a button on the bottom of the machine. ... show more

Great register for dramatic play. My daughter wanted one with a scanner that beeps and this will work on anything. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the calculator screen doesn’t show the full number in some of the place values. Also, I am personally not a fan of the size money and limited register trays for money. There are 4 dollar amounts provided but only three trays for money. We got the Melissa and Doug set of money to go with it and unfortunately the Melissa and Doug money is way to big to fit in the drawers. ... show more
