My nephew loves this toy. It comes with all the bells and whistles: pretend food, fake money, a working microphone, a functioning cash drawer, and a calculator. Despite being played with fairly regularly, it hasn't had any problems with the drawer getting stuck or other parts malfunctioning. The play food is fun because the fruit splits in half so children can pretend to cut it with the included knife. They can also start doing math on the register when they're old enough. This is a better price than some other registers and it seems plenty durable. It's a great, interactive toy. From ages 4-6 my nephew has had fun playing with it.

Bought as a gift, this package was immediately a favorite. The coins and cards are sturdy. The cut-able fruit is very fun and easy for little hands to use. The volume is a little loud, but is easily muffled with a bit of packing tape. A very good buy for a little one who likes to play "shopping".

This was a gift for my 3 yr old grandson. He loved the scanner and credit card noises. His sisters, 4 and 6 also liked it. They really loved cutting the fruit with the knife on the cutting board. They are still fighting over it on day three. The 4 year old did fold a paper bill and put it in the coin slot which blocked the coin. Grandpa was able to remove a lot of tiny screws to remove the back to grab the bill with tweezers. Working again. The microphone makes noise when you blow on it but does not really seem to amplify your voice. The kids don't seem to care. I would recommend this cash register for the fun scanner, credit card slot, and coin return. Plus the added bonus of Velcro fruit that kids can "cut" apart.

The thing we love most about this toy cash register is the scanner. My little one has a fascination with scanners at the grocery store. He will spend seemingly forever scanning things around the house just to hear the satisfying boop. You can tally the order with register keypad, helping with math skills It comes with lots of play food to scan and I love how it extends to playing house with the cutting board, slicing food and knife. When checking out, pay with card, coin or cash. The money counter on the register works great! It even has a drawer for cash. All the cash, cards and coins store in the drawer so they don’t get lost. It’s a nice size toy for little kids, allowing them to carry it around easily. This is a favorite toy.

My kids love this cash register and were given it for Christmas. They have played with it everyday since and on day 3 the scanner quit working. Customer service reached out to me to trouble shoot fixing the issue and genuinely wanted to solve our problem. So thankful there are still businesses out there like this one! They love putting the coins in it. They love all the noises and buttons. The scanner lights up and has a noise. Cutting the fruit is just an added bonus to all the cool features on this cash register!

I bought this last year to go with a toy kitchen I bought for my grands ages 1-5.I had also bought a cheaper cash register at a discount store - I will probably buy another one of these and give away the cheaper one. The coins are much stronger and not as much of a choking hazard, I like how the scanner is attached (the other cash register scanner is not attached and was missing for 6 month!), the way you put the coins in the top is very fun, the drawer is nice, the microphone is great and it has lasted a year so far! It is a bit loud, but i just put a large sticker over the speaker and it's fine! Love it!

This cash register is more appropriate for ages 3-5 years. A school teacher recommended to teach the kiddos about money before kindergarten. The other cash register’s are more complex and for older kids.
