Update: 3/30/23: The polisher works well in use, and the battery seems to be long lasting so far. The speed control ia a little wonky and takes some time to spin up, but its ok. I have dropped my rating to 3 stars however, because although Batoca includes an allen wrench for backing plate removal, the allen screw is locked in place and you may damage the head before being able to remove it. The vendor has replied that this is a proprietary head - undisclosed and unexpected, and honestly not well thought out. With this you cant use any attachments like a brush that arent hook and loop, and you also cannot clean behind the backing plate, which will quickly become a mess. If they would provide better information it would help in decision making, at this point I'm past the return period. ------------------- I can't yet comment on functionality and my use will be limited so that may be a while still. But I can comment on initial impressions. I compared 3 Batoca models. The S2 5AH model as a kit is nice, Batoca should standardize and have just 3 kit levels rather than a mixed bag for each model, it's really confusing when comparing KITS. The kit on this S2 set has fewer accessories than their other models as example (3 polishing pads rather than 6 or 9). The polisher would benefit from a taller/higher-better front handle design, or addition. And finally , the bag, it's cool and large enough for the polisher, or the accessories, but not both. This seems like a miss and is true for most of their kits. That all said, of the 3 Batoca models I tried, I kept this one. For it's weight and runtime, knowing I can get 5 inch pads and accessories as needed.
