I have the A1932 model laptop. The computer model seems to really matter with people’s experiences with these kinds of products. I can say that the top and bottom sections snapped right into place and fit perfectly on my computer. It doesn’t obstruct anything nor prevent full opening or closing of the laptop screen. It does add considerable weight to the laptop and sometimes it will cause the screen to open fully from the weight. Also, be careful closing the laptop, because the extra weight will cause it to close a little more quickly and it may catch you off guard until you are used to it. But really it’s not a big issue for me. There also vents and a stand on the bottom piece to let the machine release heat and prop the laptop up if you like. The screen protector was easy enough to place. There is no roller or tool or anything to smooth out any bubbles you may get when applying, so you will have to find something else to help with that. I was able to manage pretty easily and the protector doesn’t affect the screen output or appearance at all that I can tell. The keyboard protector more or less lies on top of the keyboard. It seems to stay in place okay, but can be easily pulled off if you don’t like it. It does create much more grip on the keys and maybe affects my typing a little. My fingers can’t slide around the keyboard so easily like they could without it. It is much quieter though. It hasn’t really bothered me at all. It does cover up the backlight, but there is a hole so you can still see the caps light. Oh, and there are two keyboard covers included, because the arrow keys are spaced differently in some of the laptop models this case is made for. So you can use the one you need. So, I have had this on my laptop for two weeks. It seems solid, sturdy, and the fit is holding firm. Some people have said they are getting cracks and chips in the case even from the laptop just sitting still. I keep mine in a backpack and take it with me to work and some other places, and so far it shows no signs of any construction integrity issues. Everything is solid and where and how it should be. Overall, I think this is a great choice for the A1932 model laptop. I can’t speak for the other models listed in the product description. The most noticeable thing to me is the extra weight and how it affects the screen positioning as well as the keyboard cover changing the feeling of the keys quite a bit. These are all very minor things to me and don’t really take away at all from how I use my laptop. By installing this laptop protector, I made a modification to my laptop to protect it. So, the modification caused some minor changes to the look and feel of my laptop. I’m perfectly fine with this. I will update this review if anything changes, but I am completely satisfied with this product so far. ... show more

The instructions were not the best. But when I finally got it on, it's a good weight. It's tough and covers the my m1 macbook well. I love the color. I got the purple. And the keyboard cover fits correctly and is super soft.

Love the case, fits nicely, and comes with all the accessories, but after just over 6 months of use, the stand portion of the case has broken off. I use the stands almost every time I use my Macbook, they just make it easier to use. I don't think that is unreasonable and don't feel I was harsh in opening & closing the stand, so its very disappointing to have it break after a short time period. If you don't care to use a stand to have better typing posture I definitely recommend this case otherwise you may want to consider a case less likely to break. ... show more

My teenager tends to destroy cases and the electronics with the ease of a bodybuilder cutting through soft butter. After a month the MacBook is still intact, the case is barely scuffed and most importantly I haven’t had to even give it a second thought.

The product doesn't fit as well on the laptop as some others do. The frame edges all around are very sharp; this is no problem when the legs are up but when they are not, I feel them digging into my forearms if I'm resting them. Only the feet on the kickstands are rubberized. When the legs aren't deployed, my computer slides around. The product feels substantial and should offer some drop & bump protection.
