This case is absolutely perfect for the new 2020 MacBook Pro!!! I was looking for a specific shade of lilac or lavender blue but I was worried the case would arrive different from the photos. I ended up purchasing this case in “Solid Blue”. As you can see the color is 100% accurate and the product is exactly as described. I included photos in different types of lighting to show what it looks like in person and I would say it’s perfect! The case is cut to the exact dimensions of the computer so if you have a laptop that’s not the same model number in the description, it probably won’t fit. The case has plenty of room around the usb-c ports and headphone jack and there’s an area cut out in the front for you to open the laptop. There’s also air holes at the bottom and little feet so air can flow underneath which is always great. I don’t think the screen protector would be a good idea because of the small margins of clearance for the MacBook to close but it’s worth noting that it was included in the package as well. It even came with a little brush to get dust and debris from around the keys and back hinge before you put the keyboard cover on❤️ The keyboard cover matches the exterior case and doesn’t cover the Touch Bar or fingerprint button but takes a lot of getting used to. I think it’s great for anyone that wants to avoid minor scratches but if you drop the whole laptop from up high/ inflict major damage, it’s not going to do much to help (it’s a plastic case). First, this arrived much more quickly than the original shipping arrival estimate date range indicated. The shipping process began very quickly, and I could track the order for the ~2 weeks it took to get to me. I am not going to be using the keyboard cover, and will probably not install the screen protector. Both seem to be perfectly adequate examples of what they are, I just don't prefer using them. I bought this for the case itself. Took a little fiddling to click into place (took like 10 seconds to figure out), and once I did, it fit like a glove. So far I'm very happy! I dented the heck out of the 13" MBP my new one is replacing -- just cosmetic damage, but it tremendously brings down the resale value, and I decided for my new machine, I'm finally going to use a shell case. This one is exactly what I was looking for! And I really like having a black MacBook Pro! :) ... show more

It fits! I have the new 2020 MacBook Pro 13” A2289 and it fits! I previously had the 2019 version, and had hoped that the case I had for that would fit the 2020, but sadly no as it it a little bit thicker because of the keyboard. It was kind of challenging to look for a case for the 2020 version as it had just came out, and luckily saw this, advertising that it fits the 2020 version and it does! Has a nice matte feel to it and it is not loose at all, it overall fits perfectly! I’d advise to get a sleeve bag to just add an overall protection. ... show more

This case does not fit my MacBook Pro a2251. I specifically typed the model number in and it is in the description but it does not stay on nicely. It snapped into place and seemed like it was easy to install when my laptop is closed, but when I open it, you can hear it click because the top and bottom hit each other. Another complaint about this case is that I have almost dropped my brand new laptop three times because of the case sliding off easily. I would grab my laptop off my desk to put it in m bag and the laptop slips because the case does not stay on nicely. It probably has something to do with how the top and bottom hit each other when you open your laptop. Do not buy. I purchased another case at an even lower price and it fits perfectly like I would expect and I have not had any problems. ... show more

Just purchased new mackbook and needed something that would look clear and nice and at the same time durable. Overall super disappointed with this cover mainly because after few weeks it looks horrible. I haven't take my mackbook out of the house but it already has tons of scratches and looks like i had it for few years. Plastic film for the screen is very poor quality. Definitely would not recommend it ... show more

It seemed like a good product. I always purchase protective cases and covers for items such as laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc. Some work better than others. I can understand some deterioration after a number of years. Overall Rating: 1 star Read this review. Durability: 1 star Read this review. Installation: It is a very tight fit, hence 4 stars on Easy to install. This isn't a drawback, just a subjective assessment. Sturdiness: 1 star Read this review. This product, after less than a month, began showing cracks at the top corner near where the power supply and attachments are accessed by my MacBook Pro (M1 Processor model, brand new). The cracks are spider-webbing at the corner. So far this is not happening at the other corners. The bottom half of this 2-piece cover is, so far, crack-free. I have not dropped the laptop. I am very careful, expecting the MacBook to last at least 5 years looking just as good as when I purchased it. Thus the protective cover. I expect, given the rate of spontaneous deterioration after less than 2 months, I will need to purchase a different product. This one will start dropping pieces any day now, thus offering zero protection and exposing sharp edges. ... show more

Overall, this product is great. It fits my new MacBook Pro perfectly, and looks great (mostly). The texture of the case is so oddly soft, but in a good way! The keyboard cover fits nicely and doesn't make it too difficult to type. I can't speak on the screen protector, as I didn't use it. The only reason this product isn't getting perfect marks across the board is because it came scratched. On the front cover, there are these weird blemish marks that looks like it was rubbed too hard and caused it to look scuffed. I know that the point of this case is to take on the scratches rather than my computer, but I'd rather add to the scratches myself rather than it coming done for me. New should be new! ... show more
