I ordered a full size up, which was good. The fabric is soft and clingy, more like soft pajama pants. Having some extra drape makes this a bit better. The fabric shows every change in body texture or underwear. I got army green, which is quite dark. Not see-through. I like the shape- wide and straight, they look good. They hit below my knees, but I am short. The waist is quite snug, which never happens for me, especially considering this is a size larger than I have ever bought. I am pretty sure they are going to pill and snag. They would stretch over a large cast, but they might snag. If I wanted them for a specific purpose and was willing to toss them if they got damaged, I might have kept them, but I was looking for sturdier use. I would not be too comfortable wearing them out of the house.

They are very soft and comfortable. I'm 5'1" and I was afraid they would be too long but they are a perfect length. I wanted something cool as I live in Florida. It's 85 today and I am actually feeling great. I only bought 2 to try them out but I already have 2 more on my shopping list. Wish they had them in white (hint hint).
