I’ve been wanting a curved shower curtain rod for years but never got one because A) my dad isn’t a handy guy and wouldn’t have been able to put it up for me and B) I felt like it wouldn’t make much difference because the bottom of the curtain still has to be inside the tub to avoid water splashing out. However my boyfriend has been living with me for a while now and I knew he’d be able to put it up so I went ahead and ordered this one expecting a slight change in space. When he put it up I was REALLY surprised at how much more room I have now. I mean it’s not like it doubles the width of the shower or anything but it made much more room than I expected. ⭐☆☆☆☆ – Disappointed with Amazon’s Lack of Accountability I purchased this shower curtain rod because it was clearly advertised as rust-resistant. After a little over a year of normal bathroom use, the rod is now visibly rusted. Rust develops gradually, so this type of issue would not appear within a standard 30–60 day return window. I paid $150 for professional installation and now must pay again to have it removed and replaced, in addition to purchasing a new rod. This has turned into an unnecessary and avoidable expense. What is most disappointing is Amazon’s response. The product is no longer even being sold, yet Amazon declined any assistance due to the time that has passed. When customers purchase through Amazon, they are trusting the platform to stand behind what is being advertised. If a product claim proves inaccurate over time, there should be some level of accountability beyond a short return period. Amazon built its reputation on customer service and trust. Unfortunately, that level of support no longer feels consistent. I hope stronger competition enters the market — companies willing to verify seller claims and truly stand behind the products offered. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this product, and I am also disappointed with Amazon’s handling of accountability. ... show more

So I'm not the smallest person. I guess I'm kind of wide. Now my shoulders don't rub on the shower curtain or the wall. It's pretty sturdy. It was a little weird to mount but it's okay. Had to buy curtain clips so it would seal. It's great.

I bought this to give more room in my small tub. It came with no instructions, but I'm a diy person so it wasn't an issue. It's very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time..just make sure to tighten the screw that goes through the rod to hold it...really tighten it or the rod will be loose. I like this rod..best value for the money. I would buy again... ... show more

Great looking rod when installed in our bathroom and straightforward installation (assuming you are reasonably familiar with installing bathroom hardware). However, less than a year down the road the escutcheons were rusting and, soon after, the rod, as well. See the photo about 18 months after installation. We live in a humid climate, so these might work better in a very dry climate, but we are now going to replace the shower rod again. We looked for a way to contact the vendor before posting a review, but we could not find any way to contact them to allow them to handle this problem. ... show more
