Sturdy and fairly easy to install. The instructions are not very clear but we figured it out. The only essential piece of information missing is what size hole to drill for the anchors: 1/4 inch.

So I'm not the smallest person. I guess I'm kind of wide. Now my shoulders don't rub on the shower curtain or the wall. It's pretty sturdy. It was a little weird to mount but it's okay. Had to buy curtain clips so it would seal. It's great.

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Disappointed with Amazon’s Lack of Accountability I purchased this shower curtain rod because it was clearly advertised as rust-resistant. After a little over a year of normal bathroom use, the rod is now visibly rusted. Rust develops gradually, so this type of issue would not appear within a standard 30–60 day return window. I paid $150 for professional installation and now must pay again to have it removed and replaced, in addition to purchasing a new rod. This has turned into an unnecessary and avoidable expense. What is most disappointing is Amazon’s response. The product is no longer even being sold, yet Amazon declined any assistance due to the time that has passed. When customers purchase through Amazon, they are trusting the platform to stand behind what is being advertised. If a product claim proves inaccurate over time, there should be some level of accountability beyond a short return period. Amazon built its reputation on customer service and trust. Unfortunately, that level of support no longer feels consistent. I hope stronger competition enters the market — companies willing to verify seller claims and truly stand behind the products offered. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this product, and I am also disappointed with Amazon’s handling of accountability.

INSANE INSTALL. So, the instructions are not clear. I had to take down and put up again 3 times! And still, like another reviewer mentioned, one of the pieces is machined backwards, so there is a lot of wobble or wiggle. The build quality is ok. If I had to do it over again, I would change some things. 1st: place curtain on rod and hold up ends where you want to hang the curtain rod. This will help you determine where to drill for the brackets. I placed it where the old shower curtain was, and since this curves, it was almost touching the toilet. 2nd: when placing the brackets on the wall, make 4 marks to drill per bracket. You will have to get 4 more screws, but this will help you maintain sanity. The marks should be at the top and bottom of the screw opening [an example (O O) ]. Place the bracket on the wall and screw all 4 in. This will alleviate the play or turning the bracket when adding the weight of the rod and curtain. 3rd: mark the brackets and the sides of the curtain rod (left and right, skinny and fat, etc..). The brackets are not interchangeable. The skinny one belongs to the skinny bracket, and the fat one belongs to the fat bracket. Hope this helps someone.
