A small foam brush may seem insignificant, but a bad one can make a project so much more difficult. I’m using these foam brushes to stain and polyurethane a small bookcase. They do the job perfectly! Each brush has been well made, foam is a good consistency to hold the finish, and the stiffness is just right. Although it’s intended to be a single use disposable brush, I’ve been using these 2 or 3 times each, sealing them in a plastic bag between coats. Also, this is a locally owned USA company. I use these to coat bass guitar necks that I have defretted. These brushes are so inexpensive that I just use them once and throw them away. They are made well, and you can't beat the price.

I use these foam brushes when using oil based polyurethane because they're inexpensive and disposable. To me it's not worth the time and trouble to clean these with mineral spirits. These come in a larger pack than what's sold in hardware stores and cheaper so it's a no brainer to buy these through Amazon if you're value conscience. They are packaged in a resealable bag which helps keep them clean in a workshop environment. ... show more

I thought these were too good to be true for the price and I was unfortunately correct. They look good, but soak up paint unevenly and it takes a lot of pressure to get the paint from the brush to the object being painted. They are also a bit too stiff. So to get the paint on the the surface requires so much pressure that the proximal tip of the wooden handle breaks through the foam. Will go back to bristle brushes where you can choose the stiffness factor. Last issue is that it is difficult to get a smooth finish - leaves lines and bubbles. ... show more
