I have not field tested this gear, but everything about this jacket and everything they make is perfect. It’s designed very well for a bow hunter. There base layers have tabs for your thumbs which makes so the sleeves wont pull up while gearing up. This jackets is very warm and traps heat which is why it’s so waterproof. You can tighten up the sleeve ends which is great. Lots of pockets to hold stuff and is decently quiet. The fit is a bit bigger than true to size. I found that there pants(invis) and this jacket is a little longer than normal. For the pants I ordered a 34x30 and I had to get about 3” tailored out of them, so they definitely run a little longer. They’re extremely comfortable and I cannot wait to use them this season. I’ve ordered everything I can in the highland color. Everything is a hit for these products and I couldn’t see them getting much better. Especially at this price point

Outstanding rain jacket. I folded a cotton T-shirt into it and placed it under a shower head running cold water for 45 minutes. Afterward the T-shirt was perfectly dry and the inside of the jacket was not humid or clammy. My old Frogg Toggs jacket failed this test miserably. My newer Carhartt jacket kept the shirt dry but was clammy and humid inside after the experiment was complete. So this Bassdash is highly recommended for rain protection. Excellent coverage also from the hood, and excellent controls over the snugness with various drawstrings. The ad describes the outer layer as silent. It is not. It is much quieter than any rain jacket I have ever worn, but it is not silent. That's not an issue for me, but be aware that the surface is soft like flannel but not quite as quiet. Fit: I got the large. I'm 6'2" and 175 and it is exactly what I want - plenty of room for layering but not so much as to be baggy. Warmth: I have not worn it in warm temps and do not plan to, but it is a fairly substantial jacket. Regardless of how breathable it is, it is going to be uncomfortably warm at some point. Appearance: The depiction of the Desolve Black color pattern is accurate in the ad. I like it a lot.

Kept dry in a Florida evening downpour!… except for my forearms. I put my arms up and water poured down my sleeves. Putting my wet hands in hand pockets was uncomfortable. Hand pockets were very small, can’t imagine a man’s hands would even fit inside. Disappointed that the women’s waders don’t come in the matching Grunge Camo. Not as cozy as I expected, debating on returning. Upside is my badonkadonk stayed tucked under cover when bending over. Outerwear I normally wear a woman’s large or men’s small to medium. Upsized to a Large. 5’6” & 165lbs.

I was really surprised by this jacket; I survived a solid week of heavy rain last summer in Alaska and many days after that and still bone dry. one of my buddy's had a Columbia rain jacket the other had a KUIU and I stayed every bit as dry. This jacket is also thicker than your average rain jacket and well made with a material resembling breathable wader material, I will probably buy another in a larger size too. beware they run a little bit small, they have more of an athletic fit that I like so I don't have a lot of loose material around the waist. These are really a smoking deal for what you are getting.

Couldn't be more please! the quality is great the fit is perfect, and pockets everywhere! didn't know this when purchasing but the hood is designed to flair out to keep water from running down your face so no need to wear a hat to keep water runoff out of your face! size wise I'm 6'3 215 fit and the large fits perfect!

So far really pleased - haven’t been in a downpour yet but jacket is lightweight and has lots of pockets for storage ! Will have to have under layer to be really warm but is easy to pack and store ! Ordered a size larger to be able to under layer !
