Of all the DIY work I do, plumbing is my least favorite, and something I tend to stay away from. That said, I still do minor plumbing work like changing out a kitchen or bathroom faucet. Of course, as I get older, it gets harder and harder to crawl under the sink to try and get a wrench on the nuts that hold the faucet parts in place. The Maeysiph basin wrench set is going to be a big help. The wrenches arrived in a plain cardboard box. In the box were the two wrenches, and a pair of nitrile coated knit work gloves. The wrenches measure about 8-3/4" long, with each wrench having a variety of ends to fit almost any nut style you may come across. The wrenches are all metal and the side rails are about 2" a[art so you can get a god grip on them to tighten or loosen a nut. The side rails do have a little "give" if you squeeze them hard but they seem sturdy enough to withstand a fair amount of tough use. There is evidence of small weld marks on the ends of each rail which should extend the life of these wrenches. Overall. I think this is a great set of basin wrenches for most homeowners that find themselves needing to do a household faucet replacement.

I got this as a way to help save some time with a kitchen sink replacement. It worked for half of it. For some reason, the sizes on this didn't fit the nut size on the bottom of my faucet. The faucet is definitely older, but one size was just slightly too small while the other was somewhat too big. That aside, it did help for the plastic nut I had to work with afterward. The tool was sturdy enough and part of the job. I would recommend a metal bar or wrench to put between the two bars for leverage to help turn the nut if it is stuck.

We have a faucet in our hall bath that the handle loosened up on and needed something we could use to reach up in the tight space between the wall and the back of the sink bowl to fix it, as there is no way to get your hand up there. This little tool took care of it. It was easy to use and fit on the fixture with little work. It was long enough that there was ample space where it extended beyond the bottom of the sink to turn it. Both wrenches are well made. Now my handle is straight. These are probably a good tool to have on hand. You never know when something might leak where you cannot reach. Probably worth $9.99 for the peace of mind.

I got these for something to throw in our company provided tool selection at work. And these are perfect for that type of application. If you're replacing a lot of fixtures, skip past these and buy a contractor grade tool. But if you have a bunch of guys that forget to bring tools occasionally, these are great to have laying around. They do what they're supposed to, just not great.

Good tools for tight spaces. I have an older kitchen and I could never get the faucet screw tight enough from the bottom of the sink. With this tool, I was able to get enough leverage to get it snug. It's a good tool, there are many ways to deal with faucet screws but when you have no space, this will help. Well made, good welds and it's powder coated. It came with some gloves.

extremely usefull tools for sinks without adeqate space. the one issue is this only works for faucets with a standard nut. There are some easy toolless nuts that are impssible to tighten due to not being able to even get to them without adequate space. But this works for 100% of facets with a standard nut.

If you have ever had to install a faucet or remove a faucet, you will confirm worth $10!!! Normally gloves that is included with products go right in the trash, but I like these green ones. I bought a few similar ones that were blue from Costco and they are doing great. You are going to be so mad when you do your first faucet and realize how much better it would have been with these.

Being on your back under a sink basin, trying to get your tools into the small space between the wall and the basin is a pain I have experienced many times. This wrench set really helps make quick work of cranking faucets tight. to the counter...and the chance of getting a wrench in the face as you try to manipulate it is pretty much zero. This makes the worst part of faucet changing much easier...very happy. If I have any longevity issues, I will update my review, but for now, considering price-point...it's a definitely recommend.
