So this hat is a tinge more cooler in color than what I could capture in the pictures. Think a tiny bit more purple. It’s comfortable and has a decent bill length. It looks great once worn. The tightened end can be tucked inside. It’s not a defect that there is no extra stitching there. It’s left like that to allow for space. Over all the stitching is well done.     • Decent quality hat, but fits me a bit small, in depth and in circumference.

This hat is actually much better quality than I was expecting for the current $8 price. It looks good for a basic hat, the color is nice and dark, and the brim is longer than most of my other 'baseball' type hats, but it works. The issue I have with the hat is that first of all, I have to extend the band on the back all the way in order for it to fit me, so it feels like it's made for someone with a smaller sized head, because my head isn't that big, and I usually have to adjust regular hats smaller a notch or two in order for them to fit perfectly. Also, the hat isn't as deep as my regular baseball type hats--it doesn't feel right to me, and I can see too much of the side of my forehead compared to my other hats. Again, it just feels like it's made for a woman or someone with a smaller head. It's made well, the color and material look good, but for me the brim is a bit long and the hat is a bit small in depth and circumference. I still gave it 4 Stars because it is a pretty good hat for just $8 and if it fits you, it would be a good deal for a basic, plain hat. ... show more

    • More large bill than large cap - ok for working outside

This cap works fine for most normal adult heads, but note that you will indeed be getting an extra long bill, not necessarily a cap that fits extra large circumference heads. The cap is a cotton canvas type material. The profile is a little lower than say, a standard MLB baseball cap. The rear of the cap has an adjustable strap to accommodate various head circumference sizes. The adjustable strap is not velcro. It's the type with a tiny buckle. I don't think this will accommodate extra large circumference sizes, though. I think it probably works best between 7 1/4 and 7 3/4 sizes. I think the product description is meant to emphasize that the front bill is extra long. Because it definitely is longer than what you are used to on "normal" baseball style caps. It's better for shading your eyes from the sun, but it does look a little ridiculous. The stitching on the underside of the bill is adequate, but it's not the cleanest if you look at it closely. Overall, this is an inexpensive canvas baseball cap with a long bill. If you want a hat that you can abuse while doing yard work outside, this will absolutely suffice. For any other purpose, I would probably look elsewhere. ... show more

I like this hat a lot. Its soft cotton, unstructured so it has a nice drape on my head. I'm not a fan of the structured "stand up in the front" style baseball caps. There are two things that set it apart a bit from my other hats. The sides, between the bill and the strip are a bit longer than unusual so it's probably a little better than average for large heads. The sides are about half an inch longer than my other caps. Its adjustable so it will fit almost any size head though. My head is large but not huge so most adjustable hats fit me, this one too. The other thing that's a bit different is the bill is longer than most baseball caps. 'could be an advantage for additional sun cover. I got the Khaki color and like it. This cap can accommodate a large head, but it is not well made – there are some loose stitching. In addition, the overall cap shape is not really classic. This is a nice, no-frills, low-priced baseball cap. The fabric is a medium-weight cotton twill. It has breathable, small holes in the crown and an adjustable strap in the back, with a strong buckle. The bill is stiff and a reasonably-sized length and width. My only complaint is the sweatband; the fabric band is wide, but the cut is loose so that the cardboard insert doesn't stay tucked inside very well. The cap seems to be constructed decent enough, but unwearable for me, making it impossible for me to evaluate durability. I already know that it fails miserably on fit and comfort. The description states that the fit is "Size: 22 to 25 in". The title states, "...Large Head Circumference Cap Depth..." The depth appears to be decent, but the circumference? No way! My head circumference is 23" - well within the set parameters, and at the maximum adjustment the hat is so tight that wearing it for any length of time is sure to guarantee a headache. Claiming "large head circumference" is misleading and deceptive. If it were the proper size I would probably give it four stars, but the faulty (deceptive ?) size description makes the cap absolutely useless for people with an average sized head. This cap should be labeled as a children's cap but it is not, so I give it one star.
