Lacoste? More like low cost. Check out what you can do by mixing the belt with regular nice fitting clothes. The perception that the outfit provides coupled with the belt projects and decides whether if people believe the legitimacy of the brands or not. Short version: Very satisfied with this belt. Long version: I love the ratchet style belts, but ordering them is always a gamble. You can never tell from the pictures if it’s a solid metal buckle, or a piece of garbage plastic on a metal base. This belt uses a second piece of black metal on top of the metal base, and the bee is actually part of the base, so the construction is exceptionally sturdy. This is built to last! ... show more

I received this belt as a Christmas present this past year, and started wearing it soon after New Year's Day. Two days ago, the rod mechanism that rotates to disengage the teeth snapped in half. I had my last belt for over 20 years, so I am definitely not too hard on belts.
