I noticed my evo plus was idling at 70c so I starting searching around amazon for a solution. At first I ordered a heatsink and that dropped the temps very well but as soon as there was a load it was back in the high 70's to 80 and would stay there for a while with the heatsink holding in the heat. My pc is watercooled so theres not much for airflow and that made me wonder if there was a water block for a nvme, thats when i found this and ordered it. I fully planned on mixing metals based off the other reviews and using a anti corrosive. But when I got it I lightly sanded the bottom of the block to see just what it was made of and it is nickle coated copper, just like the rest of my loop. The only aluminum part in this is the lower black piece and that does not come in contact with the coolant. With this Barrow block my new idle temps are 34c and 38c under load. Something i noticed was people saying it had a hole for a 5mm led, mine does not have that but thats not a deal breaker for me. If your nvme drive has a gpu covering it this will not fit. Mine is below the cpu socket and above the first pcie slot. ... show more

The water block has a 5mm hole on the acrylic if you wish to install a 5mm RGB lamp. The 5mm RGB lamp can simply be connected via a 4Pin Molex plug to the PSU of your system, allowing quick installation without soldering.
