Got these for installation on a tall and narrow IKEA shelf for my indoor cacti and succulents. Very simple to install, and with the self adhesive pads, placing the on the underside of each shelf was fairly easy (they're very sticky, so make sure you measure or mark where you want them to go). I liked the little snap in hangers that created a gap between the panel and the shelf for heat dissipation. I've had no issues at all with the timer, it has turned on and off as set (I haven't seen what happens after a power outage, but that's a fairly rare occurance so only time will tell). My light measurement app shows a very good lux reading, so I know the output is okay, and my buddies have responded nicely. My only I wish is that each panel were a tad longer and wider, maybe 12" x 6", but overall after four months of use I'm happy with these lights. They seem quality and well built, so I hope they last for a long time. ... show more

These lights work awesome! Only issue is the timer.. I have a different brand of lights as well and I set them both to 12hrs. Well the other lights turn on/off the next day exactly at the right time and these lights always take a extra 5-10minutes to turn on/off. That's my only complaint about the product. Other then that they are definitely worth the price! ... show more

Love these lights, and my plants like them too. I have these placed on the underside of my library shelves, underside of the shelves on a metal cart (same style as in the picture) and inside a couple cubbies on a hutch. Great way to provide light to my plants and make it so I can have plants where I want them, not just where there is a window available.
