This light is very elegant looking and very well made! It's not flimsy at all. Very bright and can be adjusted from a fine cone to spread way out to cover many plants! I took readings from both the center and the outer edges of the weakest light and i it was VERY powerful from corner to corner. This provides excellent light for quite a few plants when turned to its fullest setting, and super bright at it's most narrow beam. Plenty bright enough for even peppers. The included timer works flawlessly and is great! No more relying on a smart speaker, which might fail to come on because of an internet outage. This mechanical timer will always, reliably work. Bought this to help supplement my east facing window for some bigger plants I wanted to showcase/pull away from the window for room for other plants. I have one for my Alocasia regal shield and one for my bird of paradise. I love the option for the reach of the bulb to make it more spotlight or wide angle, the quality is great, the size is perfect for what I wanted, it was at a great price point and they have done wonders to my plants. I put these up and have not seen any decline and am watching both plants remain happy and push new leaves. The brightness is perfect for what I needed and I plan on adding more of these around my house eventually. Great light. My meter shows the PPFD is as listed in the specs or higher. The ability to adjust the spread allows me to use the light in multiple locations and applications. The long cord is perfect for mounting the light on the ceiling. I purchased 2 of the Barrina for the price of 1 of their competitors. And the competition does not have the capability to adjust the spread. And the other “competitor”? Could buy 10 for the same price. I want great lights but I still want to afford the plants! I avoided this lamp for awhile because of the price but now I can’t wait to buy another one! The way my plants flourished as soon as I hung this above them is incredible! Leavy plants sprouting new leaves, cactus flowering and succulents sprouting new shoots! This is the only plant light anyone needs. The light itself is amazing! The timer is very easy to set/adjust, as well as the beam angle. My variegated plants seem to be loving it so far! My only real gripe about the product is the hanging hardware. It very much did not work for hanging in my ceiling, but worked great in the wall! So I have it hung more like a pendant than a pendulum. I would make sure you get some better ceiling brackets if you're dead set on having it in the ceiling. Only putting it at 4 stars since I can't do 4.5 for the hardware. ... show more

Great grow light for a single plant. It does not spread wide for several plants. The light does get hot so the plant cannot be too close or it will burn. However this is a great grow light and keeps plants happy. I do recommend this light.

I got this for my Serissa bonsai since I can’t keep the tree outside during winter months. The tree requires bright sunlight so high PPFD was important to me. I have been using it for several months now. The light is very bright and the hanging hardware and timer are great quality. The only “issue” I have is I hoped it would cover a few plants but even at 60 degrees (widest possible focus) it can cover at most two plants. As others mentioned, the light does get very hot but it hasn’t been a problem for me. ... show more
