I ordered the 8ft lights. One of them arrived damaged: flickering and not allowing power to any other lights in the series. I contacted Barrina who sent me two free 4ft lights as a replacement (I'd much rather have an 8ft light, but I'll take it). Received the replacements and only one worked! They're sending me another replacement and fingers crossed this one arrives working! The working lights are fantastic: easy to mount and connect and offer great light. I would just think that at $100 these lights wood arrive working! Disappointed to say the least. EDIT: I received the second set of 4 footers from Barrina. I have yet to test them. They did reach out personally and apologized, saying they will send another 4 pack of the 8 footers (what I originally ordered) for my trouble, free of charge. Great customer service from Barrina, but still, light should arrive working. They need to redesign their packaging so they aren't damaged in transit. ... show more

These are very bright for the power consumed. They are lightweight and come with almost all necessary mounting hardware: Twelve 8-ft lamps with sockets on both ends; 12 power cords, 12 butt joint connectors (but should not connect more than 4 lamps in series), 12 caps for unused sockets, 9 daisy-chain cables (but you should not connect more than 4 lamps in series), 50 ceiling clips and 50 screws (probably only need 24 because these lamps weigh so little). The 12 power cords end in bare wire without plugs (reasonable because plugs cost several dollars each and you are unlikely to use all 12), so you will have to purchase at least three plugs when you decide how you are going to wire these. ... show more

Packaging could be massively improved so that's lights do not arrive completely mangled. 3 of my 12 lights were damaged. Thankfully 1 is usable while the other 2 are well beyond salvaging. Order more than you need because there's a chance 25% show up damaged. Not terrible since it was only $8/light but I'd be more upset if I actually needed all 12 as the only option for remedy is returning all of them and ordering again, which I can assume they would only show up damaged again as there is no packaging to protect them. ... show more
