I just received this item today and am promptly returning it tomorrow. This is totally not what I expected. I ordered a full size and you can easily fit two large mattress on top of each other in the deep pockets. This would fit a mattress of 20 inches or bigger in width. It did not fit snuggly around my mattress which is around 10-12 inches. I may have been mistaken in the measurements on this part but honestly if I had a mattress that this would fit on it that is that tall it should be soft enough to where I shouldn’t need a mattress topper to begin with. As far as the softness goes.....what a joke I didn’t even need to lay on it to figure out this is crap. Zero padding what so ever. Seriously no padding at all. None. It’s basically a thin piece of fabric with soft stuff lining the top layer that is no thicker than a cm and thin as a sheet. I can get more padding just by throwing a few blankets on top of my mattress and sleeping on them. Total waste of money. Plus since it’s not an prime product I waited quite some time for it and this was even more of a let down when I finally got to open the box. Since I never slept on it I can not say any review on if it was good for pain nor can I say if the sleep quality is good. I put it on my mattress and took it right off. Would I recommend to others? No way. Am I happy with my purchase? Nope. Was the description and reviews deceiving? Absolutely. Update: I have not received a refund for my return like I am supposed to so now I have to play and email cat and mouse game with this company. Totally not happy with product or refund status.

I am so very happy with this mattress pad and I seriously did not expect it to be so thick and soft. I am very impressed with the quality and it fits my bed perfectly, with room to adjust for a thicker mattress. I have been able to get the best sleep through the entire night! My mattress was so hard and I would wake up several times during the night with pain in my hips, and in the morning my whole body hurt. I have had a restful sleep without hurting joints since I've been using this high-quality mattress pad! This was money well spent.

Absolutely the softest, most comfortable mattress pad...EVER!!! I love this pad/cover. We bought a Zinus foam mattress, great deal and great sleep, however the mattress is a little firm for me. I needed an extra layer of cushion and this was it. We are all different and what works for me will be different for someone else. I do think this is a fantastic product. I will order it again in the future and have already recommended it to family and friends. I am sensitive to off-gassing smells, gives me horrible headaches. I had none with this pad or the bed, for that matter. I have yet to find a gel-foam pad, pillow, mattress where I did not get a headache. I think with the return policy, this is a solid bet to try. Initially, we loved the product! We used it on our air bed for some guests who were visiting. I thought with this mattress topper on, the air bed was more comfortable than my actual bed. All was well when we sent it for a wash after our guests left. We followed wash instructions as specified on the label. What came out was a product ripped from the middle. We were actually thinking of placing it on our actual bed and use it permanently because it felt so comfortable, alas, it lasted 3 days

I have had and been using this mattress pad for over 18 months now. The photos included in this review are after it came out of the washer and dryer after 18 months of regular use. I cannot speak highly enough about this mattress pad. Previously I was sleeping directly on a 30 year old mattress and the springs were digging into my ribs. At the time, I couldn’t afford to invest in an entirely new mattress so I opted to get a pad instead. I’m so pleased with this, it’s so plush, it’s like sleeping on top of the coziest comforter you could imagine. Even after over a year it’s still plush, soft and I cannot feel the springs from the mattress below. This is also a down alternative pad which is important to me. As I mentioned, I was it and dry it regularly, just throw a tennis ball into the dryer to help with the fluff. It cleans up nicely, doesn’t shrink, pill or fall apart in the dryer. I’m very pleased! What a small investment for a great night of sleep!

When I was purchasing mattress pads, I would usually look at the shipping weight to tell whether the pad really has a lot of padding (the heavier the better) and this one topped most of the very expensive ones. This is one of those products where the bulkier the better. I did sew it so that the quilting will be smaller and there will be less movement of the stuffing material but I was planning to do that that anyway whatever mattress pad I buy- it just makes sense. But lazy as i am, I only sawed half of it (the top part). Now I've been using it for a month and there are no lumps either way. It is fluffy, soft, and heavy. My only complaint is, the side material that wraps around the mattress - it is thin and has too much elasticity and can be pulled and stretched down all the way under the box spring (which I did). But the top, oh my god. It's great . When I bought this, it didn't have any reviews yet. But I saw the weight. At $31 for the king size (free shipping, of course, it was a really good purchase. (Ithink it costs $40 now.

The topper / mattress pad I received is not 2" thick. I opened the vacuum sealed package and gave it time to fluff up. It did only a small amount. I tried to manually fluff it. No luck. There are a few of the quilted squares that have 3" of stuffing but most of them have 1" or less. In some places it's lumpy. It does provide a little extra comfort but not what was advertised. I don't understand what's so tough about this. You can buy a 4 dollar down alternative pillow that is 6"-8" thick and takes quite awhile to flatten. Why can't somebody do that with a topper? In fact, I'm beginning to think it would be better and simpler to just buy enough 4 dollar pillows to cover the bed, cover them with a good mattress cover to keep them from shifting around and then sleep on that. It would cost no more than this topper. Oh well.....
