Bought this mattress pad so that I could remove a foam topper that was making me hot when sleeping. In the description of the product, it said that one side could be used in summer and the plush side in winter for warmth. I am using the summer side and am sleeping better. Nice product, well made and packaged nicely. No bad smell. Just one thought to company--put in statement for consumer about summer/winter sides. There is nothing explaining that.
