    • So much prettier in person.

I thought the color change thing was a take or leave it feature, daughter really just wanted it because her tail was a rainbow pattern, but the color changing is actually huge with the kid now, she's always getting a bath toy filled with cold tap to keep on hand so she can dip the doll in and out of hot shower spray and cold water to watch the colors change. The doll itself is also super pretty - her hair is really lovely and doesn't seem as skimpy in quantity as a few other barbies we've gotten. That the necklace is fixed to the bodice by a peg and hole sort of design is a really nice touch - it keeps it in place and it hasn't come off the way a few of the dreamtopia doll's necklaces have popped off during play. The necklace, tiara and bracelet have a shimmery pearly paint on them that's actually a nice touch. all in all, probably the best barbie we've ever picked up. ... show more

Wow, I purchased this for my niece and my inner child immediately came out when the package arrived. So vibrant and beautiful and the color changing aspect works exactly how it’s intended to. No issues at all! If you look to the picture of Barbie facing backwards on the table- you’ll see her in the more pastel color once she’s color changed. I also added that picture because I found it absolutely hilarious that Barbie was sitting there with her body facing forwards but her head completely turned around! It gave me a good laugh. 10/10 would recommend! ... show more

    • Such a pretty Barbie!!
Color: Blond
Loved how pretty she was! Bought one for my niece for her birthday and she loved it so much that my other two nieces got one for their birthdays as well. The only thing I would say for why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the color changing isn't as bright as I thought it would be. It's still pretty cool if you read the directions and use the right temperature of water though. Would definitely buy again as a gift. ... show more

    • Great Gift Idea
Color: Blond
This doll is set aside for my four year old for Christmas since it is on her wish list thanks to Santa. It has not been opened yet, but it arrived quickly, packaged well, and was a great value. The mermaid is bright and colorful and the size is just right for young children. I am confident she will be so excited when she opens it. This is a great choice for a Christmas gift and I am very pleased with the purchase. ... show more
