My daughter loves this doll and really wanted this one which is from an episode of Barbie TV show. The doll looks just like the display image, except the package arrived battered and broken. The shipper was too lazy to use any bubble wrap or padding, and simply dumped this in a mail envelope for international mail. She probably thought I dug this out of a discount bargain bin from a 3rd world shopping mall from how damaged the packaging was. I attached a photo. Would have given this 5 stars otherwise, but when the package looks this bad it kind of takes something away from its gift-ability. ... show more

This Barbie is the same doll that appears on the Barbie Big City (?) show. My daughter has named her Kiki rather than Barbie as she is named on the show. I don't remember the purchase price, but if it was under $12, it's a decent deal. Mattel has made drastic improvements to the Barbie line, and it is very nice to see. 1/2 of my daughter's dolls are not white, and yesterday we purchased one with a prosthetic leg. ... show more
