This is super simple to use. Creates less barb wire skin scratches from wrangling wire. Easy enough for a 4'11" 67 year old woman to use with joy. I am so glad I found it!

These work really well. Easy to get it on the wire (just move the ring to the narrowest part of the puller, insert the wire through the notch in the ring, then turn the ring a half round). They have gripped every wire I have tried to stretch without slipping, and are more than strong enough to stretch barbed wire to its breaking point. These work best with a come along or winch to pull long stretches of wire tight. You can pull wire for as far as your winch cable is long so you can stretch a whole roll of wire at one time instead of having to connect and re connect multiple times like you do with regular hand held stretchers. I have used them on barbed wire, smooth wire, high tensile wire, and small cable. Only comment is that it will kind of squash the cable if pulled really tight, but in my experience so will anything else that you use to tighten the cable that 'grabs' it. ... show more
