Mine came perfectly packaged in protective wrap and bubble wrapped with end caps on the ends that could do damage so everything was in great shape when it arrived. Super easy to put together. There were 2 screw holes, one on each stool that were drilled poorly. One did not go in at all and one was difficult - both in the same position. Otherwise the easiest installation imaginable. The stools are a very nice budget friendly version. I was shopping in a big blue box store and looking and they are as nice or nicer than anything in there as far as sturdiness goes. The thing is that the weight rating on anything in this price range and quality is going to be for the average adult and at some point we are all going to have the above average adult visiting us or we are them. I do not know how they will hold up to a lot more weight than average adult because of the single pedestal leg support. I have been testing out the ice cream shop style with a similar base at my house with the above average weight human visitors to my house for years and they seem more stout than these do for a side to side wobble if it were to occur. They seem pretty sturdy, but 331 lbs seems like it would only work if you placed 331 straight on them and did not rock that 331 lbs is what I am trying to say. If I were 331 lbs I wouldn't be first in line to try it and trust it, but they seem sturdy if you don't rock them. The pleather covering is nice, wipes off cleanly with a damp cloth and looks great. The base wipes off nicely too. I immediately sanded something near them so I got to learn that lesson early, oops. Love the value of the stools. Comfortable to sit in, the backs of the stools seem to hit in a really nice spot on your back rather than some that feel contoured for form vs. function - these provide both at a great price.

Ok so first thing that has to be pointed out is the poor packaging. These come broken down in a box that’s heavy and densely packed. These problem is that with the weight and lack of protection for the parts, they arrive beat up. The stools themselves would be great if they arrived undamaged. But when they arrive beat up it’s like buying used items without the discount. Fix the packaging issue and you get nice looking well built chairs.

These were a replacement for some old stools we still had that came with the house when we bought it. We plan to paint some walls, and the wife wants to do some boring grey walls, and I figured these would match well. They look great, were very easy to put together, packaged well and seem sturdy enough. Another note - I have five cats, and they tend to use the stools to jump up on the counter, and so far for some reason they haven't put their claws into them and started scratching. Maybe they don't like the material, but I found it odd and if it keeps up it's another nice unexpected feature for the stools.

The assembly was easy and self explanatory. Each one only had four screws that came it separated bags with their own allen wrench. The base slides into the middle which slides into another peace that gets screwed into the seat. Took not even 15 minutes to put them both together. Came with easy instructions. Looking at these stools you would think that they are just cheaply made but they balance extremely well, unless you stretch them all the way which they become slightly wobbly however i don't think most people would want them that far up anyways. But they slide up and down as easily as any office chair, and spin to your hearts content with no limit in either direction. They have very good back support for how small the chair seems it is not, and it holds every size butt in the house with great comfort. The foot rest seems good for all heights from 4ft to 6ft humans. We love them and they have been a very nice addition to our kitchen.

I wanted to like these bar stools!! Very simple to put together nice and awesome looking, but they came very scratched from the base and is so noticable. Really sucks cause I had already put one together until I noticed the bases all scratched up.
