I own a dental lab, and my Red Wing bench lathe finally burned out after more than 25 years. My supplier did not have any in stock, so I tried one of these as a temporary polisher. It worked so well, I ordered a second one, different brand but very similar. This Baoshishan polisher works very well to polish acrylic dentures and the variable speed is very useful, as different pieces require different speeds to get a high shine. Time will tell how these smaller motors hold up but they sure helped in keeping my lab up and running until I find an industrial RedWing polisher. But I'm kind of taking a shine to these smaller units (pun intended) . Just be sure to screw them to a bench top as they are very light weight and slide across the bench while using unless screwed to the bench top. Happy with purchase.

Like the title say's, it does ok, it definitely will give more shine to your parts but I've yet to be able to get anything to mirror polish with this, I can do it with some fine grit sandpaper and by hand but honestly this doesn't do great, especially compared to our more expensive units in the shop I work in. Where this does come through is being able to redefine your edge profile quickly on knives. It's not enough to re-establish a bevel for chips but you can definitely take a knife up to a dull razor sharp fast. It will shave, not perfectly but well enough that I can hit it with 8,000 and a 12,000 stone, strop it and I'm incredibly sharp. this enables me to skip the first 8 stones in my whetstones and cut me out a good 30 minutes work per knife but for polishing rings, glass, metal, the buffing and soft wheel don't do... great

The fist picture is for the right and the second to the left. They don’t come marked, so I figured it could help someone else. The machine will spit out the buffs if you put them backwards. Also put loctite on the tread of the screws so they don’t get loose with the vibration.
