Car finding ① In arm status, press the lock button for 2 seconds, the flash light will gleam 10 times to reminding the car owner. ② In any status, press the locating button once, the parking light will gleams 10 times. 4. Trunk Release ① Press and hold the unlock button for 2’s to release the trunk. ② Press and hold the trunk button for 2’s, the flash light will gleam 3 time then the trunk will be released. 5. The trunk output +/-option There are jumper for trunk release output “+”or “-” option, The factory setting , trunk release output is “+”, please check the diagram for option. 6. Central Door Locking System Time Option: If it is electric central lock system , please plug in the jumper for 0.5’s, if it is pneumatic one please choose time 5’s . 7. I like how it was only $15 bucks and easy to install. My lights blink and the car locks and unlocks just like a car alarm. Even comes with a blue LED blinking light for when the car is locked, to give a sense of a car alarm. I got the trunk open function wired up pretty easily but installing the actuator and getting it to work properly took a lot of troubleshooting. Just google your car’s wiring diagram and find the right colors under your dash. Connect the right color wires from your car to the Benvie’s wires, and in less than 30 mins I had a working system. You will need some extra wire of your own, the wires in this kit are way too short. My car is a 93 Del Sol and I hate using the key for the trunk and doors all the time. Now I have a button for my trunk and my driver side door. Eventually I’ll do the passenger side door too, but not a priority. The hard part is removing panels and tucking the wires. So in total, including the wiring, dash and side panel removal, troubleshooting, mounting lock/unlock actuators that cost like 5 bucks each, I probably spent like 4 hours. Lots of troubleshooting to get those actuators working properly every time you push the button, but the Benvie itself is easy to install and understand. Might be more difficult installing on a car that already comes with automatic door locks, but the actuators were easy to wire up following the wire diagram. I recommended it to a friend who also hates using the key to open the door, he couldn’t believe how much I paid! ... show more

These work perfect. The installation was not bad at all if you are pretty good with DIY and have any experience working in a car. It took me 30 minutes. The diagram shows wiring to the battery but I couldn't find a good spot to get through the firewall so I ended up going with a fuse tap going from the fuse for my radio which is a constant 12V. Very easy and the rest of the wiring was exactly like the diagram. I did this on a 2002 Toyota RAV4 and both yellow wires and the black wire were grounded. Then red wire to the fuse tap for 12V. And then find the specific wires for your unlock/lock and tap into those with the white wires. The remotes are really nice too and look fancy. I did not hook up tje brown wires to the turn signal lights or the trunk pop wire as I have a hatchback. 10/10 would recommend ... show more

Edited to 4 stars since seller did get back to me and says this is the normal function. This item works as good as any other cheap electronics you can purchase. The issue I have is that the jumper to switch between a 5 second pulse and a .5 second pulse doesn't seem to work. When I unlock or lock the vehicle the lights stay illuminated for 5 seconds before flashing to show if it is locked or not. Maybe this is how it's supposed to work and instructions just aren't clear. I contacted seller for clarification but got no response. It was cheap and does lock and unlock the car so I'm just going to keep it because it would be a pain to uninstall it. ... show more

I’ve been twisting wrenches for forty plus years and I am always looking for things that would make my life easier and and add value to vehicles I repair. I bought this not expecting very much but to me surprise it was a very nice buy. It was fairly easy to install ( just a little knowledge of how the door locks work). It was the right thickness to be able to easily place under the dash board. The wires were just the right length. The instructions that come with it seem to be vague at first but upon more inspection they are exactly spot-on. The instruction sheet specified the wiring for negative accurator , positive accurator or positive- negative accurators. Once you figure out what kind you have it’s very easy to wire. Simply put it is a very inexpensive way to add keyless entry to autos that have had them factory installed or adding keyless entry to a vehicle that has lost the key fob. It doesn’t have an alarm it just meant for automatic door locks. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the device and the clicker is absolutely amazing looking and the quality of it is amazing as well. ... show more

Wiring directions were ok. If you have any experience. I was trying to get power locks with a remote. The unit does lock and unlock, but the led indicator doesn’t work and the outside lights don’t flash! I have been an electrician for over 50 years. Double checked all wires. No output from “brain”. I purchased this for my 2009 Crown Victoria P71 and it works fantastically! be sure to look up the wiring diagram before you get the unit and it's a very easy install that takes under 45 minutes. The unit is light weight and easy to conceal. the wiring is durable and comes prepped to hook up to other lines. Side note: you will want more wire but, that's a cheap purchase from your local hardware store. The key fobs are sturdy and modern in appearance.
