I found this reasonably priced standing desk and it is pretty good. This desk has made working more productive as you can change positions. It comes with memory settings. The only con is that it is little noiser and slower while going up and down (compared to the another standing desk I have).

The frame is built very well. I am very happy with the stand. I had to purchase another top as the top is in two (2) pieces. This made it very hard to mount the monitors I have on the desktop. Over all good purchase. But this is not a one-stop shop for your desk.

This standing desk is solidly constructed and works well. I’m impressed with how smoothly it slides through the three height settings, and I appreciate that there is flexibility to adjust it to exactly the height I like. The materials all feel solid. The desk surface looks nice, even though it is clearly some type of composite board underneath the outer layer. Assembly was not bad. It’s worth noting that the parts are labeled on the plastic bags they come in rather than the parts themselves. While the larger parts are easy to tell apart, I didn’t notice that until I had most of them unpacked. Most similar furniture I have assembled has stickers on the pieces. That said, this means I did not have to remove the stickers later. The smaller parts come sealed in clearly marked strips of bags. Be careful not to mix up the #4 & #5 screws because they are similar, but that extra length could poke through your desk if you use it in the wrong place. I hadn’t realized when ordering that this desk has the option for wheels, and I was excited to switch from the included feet to the included wheels. For me, this adds a lot of versatility. Speaking of extra parts, the part packets seem to be standard for the various options so if you order one of the shorter models like I did, then you will likely have a number of spare parts. There were a few subtle dints and dings on the desktop when I unpacked it, which was a bummer. In a pinch, it would be possible to switch out the desk surface for another top piece because of the way it screws together, though I don’t expect to do that.     • Very nice stand desk let down by cheap desktop

I really like this stand, it's solid, well built and easy to put together. It's near silent in its operation whether there is a load or not, suggesting it has a high torque motor and should bode well for repeated uses. It has a large range of height adjustments from as low as 27.9" to almost 45", perfect for both kids and adults. While it is wide at 55" its depth is only 24" so it doesn't take up too much space but now this is not a deep desk. Everything was great until I got to the desktop. It's made up of two 54x12 pieces, I didn't realize that at the time of purchase and wondered how they fit that desktop in the shipping box that arrives. It may have contributed to the packaging efficiency but I question the impact to its robustness when the load isn't spread across the whole desktop. I might have been OK to give it the benefit of the doubt but then I noticed one of the pieces was damaged in two places, the packaging looks fine and there's sufficient padding which suggests the damage made it past QA which is a little disappointing. Luckily the damages are on the underside of the desktop so for the most part I can ignore them. Finally, there's the matter of the finish. The fact that it's made of particle board is not surprising at this price point, but the light rustic laminate looks cheap, my wife commented the patterns look unnatural. That's too bad, because the rest of the desktop seems to be solidly built and robust. I do want to comment on how easy it is to put the desk together. Ask the parts area clearly labeled and individually packaged, and if you can follow A, B, Cs and 1, 2, 3s and are handy with screwdrivers and Allen wrenches you'll have no trouble putting it together. It's very well thought out. I also appreciate that they provided extra screws and dowels in case you lost one. I did wish they used longer screws to secure the desktop to the stand, maybe these are fine but I was not able to get that final secure turn with a couple screws even though I was not applying high torque installing them. I really wanted to love this standing desk, the fact that it's motorized with a robust stand was a pleasant surprise at this price point, but it's ultimately let down by the cheap looking desktop and the lapse in QA. This desk is good quality and very easy to use and assemble. It will adjust quickly to whatever height you want with a simple push of a button if you have it preset or you can manually set it using the adjust buttons. It is very easy to program up to three different heights and it is very quick to adjust when you want to change it. The tabletop is sturdy and does not seem to vibrate or be too harsh on anything you have on the desktop while it is adjusting. There adjustment control includes a height display to see how high the desktop is at easily, but this can be a little inaccurate if you assemble it with the casters/wheels instead of the standard feet. It is about +2.5in higher than what the display reports when using the casters. The casters do make it easier to move around, but the standard feet make it sturdier, but it's nice to have the choice. ... show more
