Top Amazon Reviews

  • Steep price but amazing quality
Color: Black
Not sure about all the bad reviews, but the buds work as described. Material and build quality is excellent as expected from any Bang and Olufsen product. Sound quality is also great, with a balanced sound that can be tuned through the app to your preference. Connection is strong and easy to pair, I've had no problem with the buds connecting to my phone every time I take them out of the case. The app is intuitive and does exactly whats needed, no complaints there. As far as comfort goes, buds are comfortable and very stable, find out which tip and fin combination best suits you, put them on properly (as with most true wireless earbuds you need to twist them into your ear, almost like you're screwing them in) and you should have no complaints. My right ear canal is shaped differently but thats not an issue when I put these in properly and securely. As far as noise canceling, if you are looking for active noise cancellation, that is absent here, but for me that is not an issue, the passive noise cancellation is more than enough and at less than half volume, most sounds are cancelled out. There are 4 transparency modes, the lowest being none and the highest essentially muting the music, but the middle 2 settings work well in allowing you to listen to the earbuds while also hearing your surroundings. The touch controls are intuitive and easy to use, albeit a bit sensitive but this is only an issue when putting them on and even then the design of the buds makes it easy to put them on without touching the controls. The case is amazing quality and great design, it wont slip out of your hands like many wireless earbud cases, but the nice design comes at the price of being a bit bulky for just carrying in your pants pockets. Single bud mode only works with the right earbud and there is no auto pause when you take them out of your ear, something much less expensive buds have, and while these shouldn't be deal breakers for most, if it is important for you, keep that in mind. Battery life is long lasting and the buds are IP57 certified which means they are dust resistant and waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, which while I do not recommend you go swimming with these, it does give an added peace of mind and lets you rinse them under the sink if they get very dirty. Overall I am very satisfied with the E8 Sport wireless earbuds, and while the price may be steep, if you have the money to spend, and know what features you want, these are definitely quality earbuds that won't disappoint. ... show more

  • Reality and expectations were polar opposites

I have listened to less expensive with better results.

  • Excellent sound quality, low comfort
Color: Black
I really wanted to like these headphones. I'm a B&O stan. I have a pair of H9i's and the E8 3rd generation. I tried all combinations of eartips and wings including Comply foam tips (which is what made my E8's comfortable), but nothing was ever that comfortable. The ear wings would start digging into ears after 30 minutes to an hour. The ear tips weren't very comfortable either. They sounded great but for this price I couldn't keep something painful to use. Maybe I just have sensitive ears, but I found the Jabra 75t active much more comfortable. I ended up returning the E8 sports and buying a pair of jabras. Area's where the Jabra 75t Active is better: -Comfort. I can wear them for hours with no to very little discomfort with the stock ear tips (no need for Comply tips) -fit. Similar to comfort, but no wings needed. Just put in your ears and get a solid fit. Maybe slightly less secure, but I haven't had any trouble with them. -Can connect to 2 devices at once -Physical buttons. I was skeptical but they are very easy to push and prevent a lot of the accidental readings on touch buttons -hearthough. Sounds more natural -app. Much more feature filled Areas where the E8 sports are better: -sound quality. These do sound better than the jabras. Not enough to rule out the jabras, but a noticable amount -design. I love the way these look. However, the Jabra headphones and case are both much smaller which can be a plus for some people. ... show more

  • Meh headphones for $300
Color: Black
This pair of headphones is not worth the price tag. The first thing I noticed is once I join a call, a beeping sound starts on the headphones. Talked with customer support multiple times and they were (kinda) able to solve that. It works most of the time, and sometimes it starts beeping.... Might just be a software thing. The sound quality is v good for its size. You can really hear things very clearly and lots of bass. The bluetooth connection w your phone/computer is very bad. You have to re-pair it often. It is also hard to move from one device to the other. I have the oldest airpods and the experience on those is so so much better. In terms of comfort, these are super uncomfortable. They'll either fall off your ears or, if you use the bigger plastics, they'll hurt the inside of your ear. TLDR: don't buy these for 350, not worth the price. ... show more

  • Can't be used for phone call
Color: Black
Let me start by saying that I had a much higher expectation for these "premium" earphones. I was looking for quality earphones that can be used during workouts. The build quality raises no concerns. The sound quality is quite decent too, however I personally find the sound quality of Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless better, for both the originals and version 2 (I own both versions). In my opinion E8 Sport earphones are quite comfortable, I was a bit concerned about comfort based on some other reviews. My biggest issue with E8 Sport, and the reason I had to return them is the fact that I wasn't able to use the earphones for handling phone calls including via 3rd party communication apps (Skype, Zoom, Teams, etc.) The earphones start playing some kind of chime sound after 30 seconds into a phone call. The issue hasn't been resolved after going through 2 copies of the earphones, thanks to Amazon’s customer friendly policies. The B&O technical support wasn't able to resolve the issue after going back and forth for weeks. It's still unknown, if the issue was limited to a specific batch (hardware) or is some kind of software bug. So, if your use case is listening to the music they are quite decent earphones, if you need to be able to use them for communication – look for the alternatives. ... show more
