I love how versatile the shelves are for this shelf. As a platform boot girly, I am not able to fit most of my shoes when the shelves are closer together, so I love that this shelf lets you customize the layout easily. Obviously you can fit a lot less platform boots than a normal tennis shoe, but I love it nonetheless. I also store my thigh high boots in a box on the lower shelf- so the smaller space between shelves does still come in handy. I also really appreciate having a place to place my work bag and random stuff that I'm carrying inside. Plus, I loveeeee the storage compartment on top because I can keep all my dogs stuff in there and its neater and cuter than her leashes being all over the place! This was easy to put together and looks great. The only issue is the lid of the storage box breaks very easily! I sat a lunch box on it and in broke down the middle. The pictures of where it breaks in other reviews is exactly where it happened.

It’s a little on the light side, and as my husband wears loggers a lot I am not sure how long she will hold up, but I love that the bigger compartment fits them. It was straight forward to put together. Basically one size screw, and one Allen (Alan??) key, so no tools needed. The shelf on the top is perfect for adding a little decor, and the little flip top cubby/box could hold keys or gloves or even a small dog leash. Still room for another 3 or 4 pairs of shoes. (17 total, more if you have little kids shoes on there. For me, it meets the objective, and I like that it comes in multiple colors/sizes. A definite space saver. The media could not be loaded. I honestly had to give 3 stars. I’m not happy with what I got for what I paid. Instructions aren’t unclear, unless you count misspellings as unclear, but some steps (and pictures) are backwards. I had to undo one part to correct it, and avoided doing that a second time by checking a bit closer. The materials besides the top shelf itself are thin, cheap and flimsy. They don’t match up quite right (in lengths or to holes), and it’s given my stand a twist in the framing so it rocks when stood on its feet. The little storage box lid is so crooked, it sticks up in one corner no matter which way I connect it. The stickers to label the parts are PAPER stickers, so they are torturous to get off completely and most are on very visible parts of the shoe rack. Besides that, it wasn’t the most difficult thing to put together besides worrying it would break itself before the full frame was attached and tightened down for some rigidity. It’s very lightweight. And it does look good… from a distance. It comes with little adhesive foam pads for the feet, and I just doubled up on one foot that doesn’t touch the floor. It’s holding all of my shoes and my partners shoes and looks nice with decor on top. Nevertheless, it’s still an upgrade to the shoe rack I had before. ... show more
