I wasn’t really expecting much when I tossed this mattress topper onto my bed, but man, the first night I sank into it was like getting hugged by a bunch of clouds with attitude. It’s thick, but not suffocating thick — just that perfect “I’m not getting up unless the house is on fire” kind of thick. The bamboo vibe is real too. It stayed cool even when the AC was throwing a tantrum and gave up halfway through the night. Setting it up was too easy. It came all vacuum-packed like one of those space bags you see on late-night TV. Popped it open, let it puff up for a couple days like a marshmallow on a slow roast, and boom — instant upgrade. I used to wake up feeling like a busted lawn chair. Back hurting, sheets twisted, half my body hanging off the mattress. This mattress arrived in a vacuum-sealed container and easily took shape by placing in the dryer for 20 min as the instructions stated. It fit on the bed very well, even with my extra thick mattress. It is thicker than most typical mattress pads but I didn't notice a huge difference in softness. This was very nice but nothing special. I tried it for the first time on a hot night and did find it to be more cooling than most. Not significant but it just felt nice to lay on when the room was so hot. It also seems reasonably durable. The stitching is strong and the material feels like it will last a long time. This mattress topper is not a game changer but it's a good quality product that is reasonably soft and cool, as it is described. I would recommend this product.
