Need to replace my old waterproof mattress cover as it was ruined from the wash. This was a great and cheaper replacement. Does not sleep hot and goes on easily. The fabric used is very similar to my more expensive one. The only con is that the fitted portion isn’t a tight fit but goes on a little loose. However, this is not big deal as the sheets hold everything in place. Tested a 1/4 cup of water and it’s indeed waterproof. Lots of waterproof mattress pads are loud, making noise every time you shift. These don't make any noise. I sleep on a memory foam mattress, then kind with no cooling gel, so it tends to get pretty warm in the summer. This mattress pad does seem to cool the bed slightly. Not a ton (like, not to the point that it's cold). Definitely a good option for hot sleepers. ... show more

This is a very nice mattress cover. It is lightweight and fits my mattress great! I like how it's not too bulky. It is also very easy to clean; just pop it in the washer and dryer. What I love is that it stays in place! I have an adjustable bed frame and whenever I would raise it, my previous mattress cover would always start to slide out of place and would not stay fitted around the mattress. I almost don't want to put a fitted sheet on this because it is so very soft to the touch, and it would be really nice to sleep on directly - but of course that's not the purpose. I'm really pleased with the detail and quality of this mattress cover. I've tried to capture the details in the photos - I don't want to zoom out and show my kid's room to the world, but you can see the solid and even stitching on the seams, and the pattern on top. I pulled pretty hard on it while maneuvering around my kid's stuff, and it felt sturdy and fit great on the mattress. There's no crinkly noise at all. I never put any filters on my photos, but the natural lighting gave it more yellow tones than white - this is a very white toned product. So pleased!! ... show more

(Link is currently messed up and different item now, I’m reviewing the fabulous mattress cover not the bamboo mattress topper) This mattress cover is wonderful and has saved the memory foam mattress topper on my teenage son’s bed lol. Fits the bed well (even with his topper) and prevents any teen boy smells from reaching the topper lol. We now have multiple so he’s able to swap out bedding while washing and never have to go without one of these again.     • Works Wonderfully, Comfy Sleep!
I was sceptical at first since it just in general to me didn't feel the greatest when I was setting it up. However once it's part fo a made bed it works wonderfully. I was worried about it's ability to breathe mostly, but I've had zero issues with it at all. It's not keeping extra heat, it's not rough, causing my to sweat or suffocating my body in my sleep. It actually is part of the most comfy bed that I've had the pleasure of putting together so if anything it must be helping! ... show more

***IMPORTANT NOTE***: My review is based on the item I received for a mattress "topper" which is essentially a mattress protector, only 1cm or less in thickness... When I looked at the product's page again, it was a "pillow" mattress topper, looks to be 3inches or more in thickness... DUE TO THIS CHANGE, I am giving the review 3-stars, because I can't comment on this $70 pillow topper when mine was a $20-30 mattress protector... As for my mattress PROTECTOR... Seems to work -- I haven’t attempted to pour any liquids on it, but I can say it is comfortable to lay/sleep on and does not feel hot. ... show more

    • Not like the pictures
This is a really nice product but is nothing like the pictures. I have a memory foam mattress so I do not notice any significant difference in softness on my bed. For me this is just a layer of protection against any fluids that may soil the mattress. It is a great replacement for the cover I previously had on my bed which was overdue for changing.
