It came flat-packed, so I love that there was less shipping waste. It's a pretty good pillow. I use this side-to-side on my bed to act as extra support under my waist (arthritis in my back). It does very well for this purpose, but I do need to "fluff" it just about every night. That's fine, it only takes a moment. I recommend a good case to go on it, because I managed to chip a nail and the ragged edge got caught on it even after I'd filed my nail. Beware: the foam smell hangs around for a VERY long time. I have been having trouble finding a pillow that works for me. I like a comfortable, firm pillow that supports my neck and this pillow seems to be working well. I have tried a number of pillows specifically designed for neck support and also for side sleepers. I didn’t like them. I purchased a bamboo pillow from a craft fair vendor some years ago and it was the best pillow I ever had so I decided to try this one. This is a good body pillow and the cover is soft, but not sturdy. I went to wash the cover 2-weeks after having it and th zipper broke so now I can't close the pillow cover. The Bamboo Pillow is exactly what I needed. I have suffered for months with neck pain. My doctor said it was a pinched nerve. I was in Physical Therapy twice a week for months. I changed the type of pillow three times with no change in the neck pain. My son has a Bamboo Pillow and I tried it. In 3 days the neck pain was gone. A word of caution: Just because someone calls their pillow a "Bamboo" pillow doesn't mean it is identical to this one. This pillow comes in a small box (considering how big the pillow is). I opened the box and followed all the directions packed in the box. I noticed the pillow was heavy but easy to move around the room. The weight of the pillow is cumbersome while moving around in bed FOR ME. I was having issues with my quality of sleep which prompted the purchase. My sleep is improved but I do notice soreness in my back now. BUT I went from a very soft pillow to this firmer body pillow.
