Fits the mattress really well and has helped our backs to not be so stiff in the morning... When I'm washing the sheets out cats love to stretch out and take a nap on it, so does my daughter! It's been 6 months (ish) &..... We've had it on our bed since we got it and I HIGHLY recommend this mattress pad! I've washed it a couple of times, just put it in the dryer in-between the washes. It's still as comfortable as the first night! It's retaining it's shape, evenness and thickness better than any mattress pad I've ever had! Definitely worth the money... If you need something firm this is NOT for you, but if you are wanting to soften your bed a little bit then you should enjoy it 😁 it doesn't make me overheated during the night which is awesome! We have 2 dogs and 4 cats and at least half of them sleep with us every night and this mattress pad has absorbed any kind of animal smells! Again I highly recommend this mattress pad! ... show more

I needed to replace my quilted padded cover for the 2" memory foam topper on my bed, and after trying several others, this one is a keeper. Little or no initial odor, soft, mostly well padded (a couple of squares were lacking as much padding as the others, but no problem after use, and they were at the bottom edge - use at your feet). The mattress I have on an older bed is in great shape, but what some call extra firm, I equate it to sleeping on a concrete slab. I tried this bamboo topper and it made all the difference! Support and comfort is hard to find. It is genuinely comfortable and fixed the mattress issue economically for a good price. When it arrives it needs time to adjust to its proper size, but if you don’t want to wait the suggested 24 hours, put it on a no heat cycle in your dryer for about 20 minutes and it fluffs right up. This bunches up in places and becomes lumpy. I have to shake all four corners weekly to get somewhat even again. Also it is warm, I had to add a cooling mattress cover over it to be able to keep it on the bed. It is soft when it has been fluffed though.
