This is not a stainless steel hotend as advertised. It is a hardened steel hotend. They are not the same thing.

If you have an X1C this is the same hot-end the machine shipped with. Fortunately, it is not 'made for bambu'; it's the actual OEM part. My original hot-end ran for hundreds of hours, and I'm sure this one will, too. This is an easy install since it's an even swap. The way this unit slides out isn't obvious, but with the screws removed you can work out the direction. The wires must be routed correctly so that the magnetic cover is positioned correctly. Note their position and the plug before removing the old one. The new wires have the matching plug installed, so there is no cutting, stripping, or soldering. Slide the new one in, install the new screws in the locations of the old ones, and plug it in. You should be back to printing. If you have done a cold-pull or cleared a clog on this machine, you have done 85% of this swap. ... show more
