Nice and puffy and comfy! It’s not Air Conditioning…but it does reduce heat. I’m one who generates a lot of heat at night and my mattress will get super hot so i have to move to another area. This pad doesn’t get rid of the heat but it definitely reduces it and when i move to another spot it definitely cooler than without the pad. Ordered for my mama who is 96 and bedridden after falling and breaking her femur. She has very tender skin that was starting to "breakdown" after a few weeks despite a air mattress topper and a very thick quilted mattress pad. The affected areas were the result of some wrinkles in the under pads despite our efforts to smooth everything flat and using knitted sheets. After a few days of this mattress topper (still using the air topper, as well, underneath) and treating the spots with honey and hydro bandages, they started to heal. The sherpa pad "absorbs" any wrinkles and helps hold everything in place. Over about 3 weeks they have healed. I'm ordering a second pad so I can take one off to refluff in the dryer while using the other on the bed. This is a XL twin, and it is a dryer full in a large gas dryer and very heavy. I hope the second will be just like the first one. I am very happy with this and very relieved that my worries about bed sores have been, at least partially, allayed. Definitely will have to use a commercial washer to clean. Definitely recommend for anyone bedridden or with very tender skin. Ordered a second identical pad, but it does not fit the bed as well as the first one. Still a good heavy pad. ... show more

The mattress topper in question looks amazing in the sellers picture. The one they sent had less than half of the fluff inside compared to the one in the picture. The material is good quality. But this provides almost no cushion at all. I immediately repackaged it and sent it back for a refund. Would not suggest buying at all. ... show more

This added some softness to my extra firm mattress that I really needed. My mattress is memory foam but its very dense and I wanted more of a pillow top. Thats what this added to my mattress, a pillow top while still maintaining the firmness of the mattress I wanted. Great! How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to to do the same.
