Bought this for my mother, she is 81/yrs old. Now she has a stable sturdy place, to sit while getting dressed and putting her shoes on, that is not to high or low for her. We put it at the foot of the bed. The storage capacity was a less than what I thought, not very deep, but she loves it.

We use an ottoman in front of the couch to put up our feet while watching TV. I keep a tray on top for remotes and drinks. Our old ottoman had taken a beating and was starting to look pretty sad, so I have been looking for a replacement for several months. The gray color and fine texture of the fabric compliments a lot of different styles of decor, and it looks good with my sofa. I found the legs were too long for our use (feet up) so I took the legs off my old ottoman to make it about 2" lower. Now it's perfect for us! This piece is decent quality for the price point, and it went together very easily. I appreciate the rubber washers to keep the legs screwed in firmly and prevent wobbling. The storage space is handy, but I haven't decided how to use it yet. Since I always have things on top, it isn't that easy to access. (I am a "horizontal surface junkie" and I like all my stuff out where I can see it.) The box was sturdy and held up well in shipping, so it arrived in perfect condition.
